Khmer Organic Cooperative (KoC) is a social responsibility enterprise established in 2014 by working along the whole agriculture supply chains from the farm gate to the market place. KoC provides the best options for all consumers by bringing a real quality of local food and fresh produces. KoC implement Cooperate Social Responsibility (CSR) by working with farming cooperatives and agricultural associations for better income and health to farmers. While expanding its activity in agricultural sectors, the company is recruiting dynamic individual for the positions as below:

Announcement Positions

Sale & Marketing Manager (1 Position)

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop sale & marketing strategy aligned with the overall business strategies to reach the company’s objectives
  • Identify sale & market opportunities and intelligence to improve product marketability and profitability
  • Budget planning and monitoring
  • Plan, organize and monitor marketing activities and sales system to ensure proper and effective results
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant functions are kept informed and updated
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital including staff capacity development plan
  • Reporting Analysis of Marketing and sale performance
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or sale, Agri business or higher level
  • 3 to 5 years experience in marketing & sale management level
  • Experience working with agriculture sector is an advantage
  • Have strong marketing analytical skill, well understanding of marketing strategy and knowledge of business management
  • Good interpersonal and communication skill
  • Able to demonstrate problem solving with high quality independent
 
 

Technical Manager (1 Position)

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Support vegetable productivity
  • Participate in technical training of trainer (agronomy, pest & disease control and post-harvest practices) and follow up with farmers to ensure adoption
  • Support effective crop planning, cropping calendar and support technical assistance at farm levels
  • Quality assurance management
  • Prepare ICS management & recording system with farmer grower group
  • Selection of potential farms for implementing safe and organic vegetable production
  • Conduct initial farm appraisals and take photographs to identify issues to be fixed so that farmers can become compliant with the safe and organic agriculture.
  • Follow up and monitor implementation of safe and organic farm practices
  • Provide technical follow up with farmers on food safety and personal hygiene practices
  • Helping farmers to develop/draw a farm map.
  • Provide on-farm training to farmers on record keeping of pesticide applications and fertilizer applications
  • Collecting water and vegetable samples, as required for analysis at a microbiology lab
  • Facilitate collection of farmer’s vegetable water samples for pathogens, parasites and chemical residues.
  • Product Certification
  • Conduct internal audit and inspection to grower groups
  • Prepare documentation system upon standard requirement
  • Collect samples for lab test upon standard requirement
  • Join and accompany external audit/inspection to grower group
  • Solve non-compliance if required and needed
  • Project management and control
  • Build good partnership with donor and NGO partners in implementing the project smoothly.
  • Build and maintain effective network with local government agencies, private sectors, NGOs, other development partners.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, follow up work plan, project implementation, business coordination with partners, project report development, project progress monitoring.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomist, Agri business or higher level
  • 5 years’ experience in level agronomist, farm management or relate field
  • Knowledge of farm management/advisory, cropping calendar, infrastructure system, farmers and cooperative coordination is an advantage
  • High commitment, accountable, integrity, be flexible, responsibility for delivering outcomes, willingness to work as a team.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skill

Business and Supply Chain Development Officer (1 Position)

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Conduct field assessment to the target farmers in the province
  • Conduct business intelligent and assessment with farmers
  • Collaborate with partner project staff to form vegetable producer group under the target provinces
  • Create and manage vegetable production plan with farmers and agricultural cooperative.
  • Manage all control contract farming production under project area.
  • Provide and support cropping calendar, product grading and specification to vegetable farmers.
  • Conduct meeting with AC representative leaders and farmers to discuss about contract farming.
  • Develop and sign contract farming with AC or/ famer representative in the target province.
  • Manage supply chains on vegetable productions from farmer producer groups to the company.
  • Manage supply chain from farmers and producers.
  • Facilitate supply chain process with farmers and (production-packaging house)
  • Cooperate with supply chain team (packing house)
  • Conduct product sourcing when needed
  • Provide further technical assistances on supply chain management to vegetable producer groups and project partner staff.
  • Support ideas of creating collection point of cooperative including needed facilities.
  • Develop and support agricultural cooperative in supply chain structure development.
  • Build good partnership with donor and NGO partners in implementing the project smoothly.
  • Build and maintain effective network with local government agencies, private sectors, NGOs, other development partners.

Senior Accountant (1 Position)

Position Summary

This position base at Picnic Resort.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Daily review and record all financial transactions.
  • Post and review all transactions into NAV system to ensure all GL entries are accurate.
  • Involve and assist all team for inventory & asset management including physical count.
  • Reconcile and make adjustment for all General Ledger balance such inventory, fixed assets, account payable…etc.
  • Perform monthly cash and bank reconciliation.
  • Prepare timely financial statement and other reports required by the management team.
  • Perform and engage accounting team for timely and accurately year-end closing.
  • Prepare monthly tax declaration and tax supporting document for tax payment.
  • Assist Accounting Manager for TOP preparation.
  • Engage and support all team to ensure all policies and procedures are well implemented.
  • Assist accounting manager for accounting system & functions improvement.
  • Assist accounting team for capacity development and effective job performance.
  • Other tasks assigned by Accounting Manager.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Bachelor degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field
  • Minimum two-year experience working with accounting/finance sectors
  • Good written and verbal communication skills (Khmer and English)
  • Experience in managing/ training staff.
  • Competency Microsoft Office programmers and accounting software
  • Strong ethic and commitment work as a team
  • Willingness to take new tasks/ responsibilities as required.
  • Be honest, reliable and work with integrity.
 
 

Graphic Designer (1 Position)

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
  • Plans concept by studying information and materials.
  • Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type and aesthetic concepts.
  • Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.
  • Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; and purchasing from vendors.
  • Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
  • Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.
  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; and participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, industrial design, interior design, or equivalent knowledge
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in graphic design
  • Strong graphic design, layout & analytical skills
  • Good personal, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Creativity, flexibility, attention to detail, Deadline-oriented
  • Desktop publishing tools and graphic design software
