Established in 2017, Urban Hub (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. is the joint venture between Cambodian & Chinese Hong Kong Investors. Urban Hub (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. is one of the big real estate developers and the management company of Urban Village Phnom Penh (Condominium Project) and Factory Phnom Penh.

Factory Phnom Penh is a unique multi-use project in the heart of Phnom Penh. Chinese-English Translator

Position Summary

Reporting to: Planning and Design Manager

Department: Planning and Design

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Cross-reference specialized dictionary and translation tools to check quality of translation
  • Follow up with internal team members to ensure translation meets their needs
  • Proof-read translated text for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy
  • Translate given material and research into industry-specific terminology
  • Convert text and audio recordings between Chinese to English
  • Edit content with an eye towards maintaining original format
  • Ensure translation content meets original meaning & tone
  • Prepare subtitles for presentations
  • Other task as assigned by Management
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Bachelor degree in business management, marketing and other relevant fields
  • Familiarity with translation software and other menthone to speed up to reach the management requirement
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in construction, technical project and others similar role
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines confident strong communication presentation skills
  • Fluency in English & Chinese and live translate for the meeting or presentation
  • Capable of working with internal and external teams and partners
  • Excellent proofreading skills with ability to identify grammar
  • Familiarity with event management software packages

Construction Manager

Position Summary

Reporting to: Project Director

Department: Project Management

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Responsible for construction management of high-end projects include but not limited to fit out packages of luxurious residential projects, A&A/new construction of high-end Retail and Landscaping works
  • Coordinate closely with stakeholders to include but not limited to project designers, consultants, contractors, internal departments from inception to completion stages of the projects
  • Provide technical support and resolve design/construction problems
  • Assist the Project Director to review contractor’s submissions including but not limited to work program, work plan and shop drawings
  • Manage the construction project to ensure the projects be completed in a quality, timely manner and within budget
  • Alert the management and Project Director in case of discrepancies, non-compliances, risks for delays
  • Manage and lead a team of construction supervisors (architect, structural and MEP) to conduct day to day site supervision to make sure works are done in compliance with the approved drawing and specification
  • Ensure quality construction standards, safety and the use of proper construction techniques on site
  • Ensure achievement of project lifecycle from construction stage till project handover stage
  • Prepare non-compliance reports and Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
  • Prepare weekly progress report to submit to Project Director
  • Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
  • Other tasks will assign by direct manager.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Degree holder in Building Studies / Construction Management or relevant disciplines with minimum 8-12 years' working experience with high rise construction cycle, fit-out works, and project management in construction industry
  • At least 3 years of experience working as a Construction manager for high-rise building projects (experience with basement construction, earthwork is preferred)
  • Corporate Membership in relative institute or Master degree equivalent is preferred
  • Working experience in property development is an advantage
  • Working experience in handling high rise building above 100M, new buildings and A&A projects is necessary
  • Comprehensive knowledge of principles concepts and techniques in construction or facility operations techniques with knowledge of environmental regulations
  • Excellent on computer software technique, auto cad, word, excel, PPT, project, etc
  • Be able to communicate in English at a professional level both in writing and speaking
  • Highly organized, be able to manage multiple tasks, detail-oriented and conscientious
  • Be service minded, having a good manner, with good professional ethics.

Quantity Surveyor

Position Summary

Reporting to: Project Director

Department: Project Management

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Able to assess cost affects when changes to the project occur; delays, variations and change orders
  • Site survey the quantity, making BOQ, and any quantity calculation and costs for projects
  • Able to prepare OME based on the drawings issued by the Design Department
  • Supporting PM team handle all taken off and contract preliminary clause
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers on tender & contract issues
  • Taken off and measurement of drawings (pending experience)
  • Do the daily, weekly, monthly reports to department head
  • Site verification and certification of work done if necessary
  • Responsible for managing all aspects of interim payment
  • Monitor the progress of procurement of long lead items
  • Handle sub-letting and cost comparison report
  • Conduct cost analysis and budgeting control
  • Prepare monthly project commercial report
  • Evaluate variation work and payment
  • Other tasks will be assigned by direct manager.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Bachelor degree in Quantity Surveying and other relevant fields
  • Minimum 5 years solid experience in QS practice in RC structure/ Fit-out/ façade/ or MEP works
  • Be able to communicate in English, Chinese is plus advantage
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership skills

MEP Engineer

Position Summary

Reporting to: Project Director

Department: Project Management

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Review contractors’ proposed construction programmed and verify the timely completion of key elements and phases
  • Monitor and provide regular reports to the contractors’ installation and quality control procedures and undertake quality assurance audits
  • Facilitate discussion between planning and design department to resolve design and construction in relation to technical issues
  • Prepare progress reports during the progress of the works on a monthly basis, or at other intervals considered necessary by the project manager
  • Make regular site inspections to ensure that the works are being properly coordinated, supervised and executed in accordance with the contract documents and to good and safe engineering practices
  • Revie progress of the contract works and at regular intervals of the project, carry out inspection and provide a full list and report of snags and defects
  • On completion of the contract works, provide a written report and summary of lessons learnt
  • Verify all MEP equipment settings provided by the contractor
  • Responsible for coordination of MEP works to avoid discrepancies and non-compliance on-site
  • Coordinate and attend joint inspections of defect rectification with the contractor and the contractors
  • Monitor and approve that all defects, snags and outstanding works are rectified
  • Other tasks will assign by direct manager.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Bachelor degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering and other relevant fields
  • Proven Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in contract (preferred) or developer firm
  • Knowledge in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, MS Office & Photoshop and Lift Traffic Analysis
  • Good knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical, plumbing and others MEP program
  • Has experienced in Condo or High building project
  • Good command of English and Chinese (Optional)

Architect

Position Summary

Reporting to: Project Director

Department: Project Management

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise various vendors and contractors and proactively handle all project issues and resolve potential clashes
  • Preparation of project brief for engagement of consultants (architect, landscape, ID)
  • Preparation of project documents (i.e. drawings, visuals, etc.) and research latest design trends
  • Work on Architectural 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, camera animation, rendering on visual or walk-through projects
  • Responsible for projects from delivering design concept to project completion
  • Manage the feasibility study, schematic design works and detailed design works
  • Work closely with leasing and property management to support operations
  • Coordinate with architects, Interior designers and Electrical engineers
  • Act as in-house design and administration role supporting the CM team
  • Review design proposals, tender documents and reports
  • Work with the team for other ad hoc assignments
  • Monitor the design submission progress of long lead items

  • Bachelor degree in Architecture, Interior Design and other relevant fields
