Associate Director Tax
Reporting to : Director & Partner

Working hour 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Support Partners and Directors in developing relationships with clients and targets to gain an understanding of their businesses, and identify potential opportunities
- Leading multiple engagements of varying size and complexity
- Advising clients on complex tax matters
- Producing well-researched tax opinions
- Coach and develop team members to successfully deliver value in tax advisory and tax compliance services to our clients
- Reviewing corporate tax calculations/preparation performed by the KPMG Delivery Centre for clients you are responsible for
- Contribute to continuous improvement of in-house systems and procedures
- Bachelor degree in relevant subjects, e.g. accounting, finance, economics, law
- At least 6 years relevant experience in either external and/or internal tax function
- Ideally CPA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent )
- Competent and literate with the following packages: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Excellent technical knowledge of and experience in corporate tax advisory and compliance
- The ability to apply an understanding of financial statements and other relevant non-tax financial and business information to the tax advisory and compliance work
- Strong organizational, time management skills and effective communication skills
- Ability to work and perform under pressure with tight deadlines
- A proven track record in developing and maintaining relationships at various levels
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to motivate and lead teams to achieving an outcome
- A true leadership approach and previous experience mentoring junior tax consultants
- Demonstrated strategic and innovative thinking skills with the ability to develop tailored solutions to address complex needs
- Self-motivated with a high level of initiative
- Good command of English and Khmer
Manager Tax
Reporting to : Associate Director & Director
Department : Tax
Working hour 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Being the principal contact with clients on day to day tax matters
- Involving on tax advisory and planning work on a client portfolio
- Discussing new tax ideas with clients
- Working with specialists to deliver expertise to the local market
- Responding appropriately to requests from clients for other KPMG Services;
- Planning compliance work and taking responsibility for managing the process through to submission of tax computations
- Reviewing corporation tax computations
- Liaising with the client service team and with colleagues in Audit and other functions to provide a co-ordinated service to the client;
- Advising clients on the treatment of contentious issues
- Monitoring the tax compliance position
- Being awareness of international tax issues
- Providing clear directions, positive and constructive feedback
- Coaching & developing less experienced staff
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant subjects, e.g. Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law
- Ideally ACCA/ CPA qualified (or equivalent)
- At least 5 year experience in either external and/or internal tax function
- Proficiency in spoken and written English;
- Takes personal responsibility and accountability for work

Senior Tax
Reporting to : Manager & Director
Department : Tax
Working hour 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Assist to obtain new laws and regulations;
- Research, clarify and give briefings on laws and regulations;
- Review work of junior staff, coach and guide junior staff to complete tasks within timelines;
- Review documents for submission to relevant institutions or clients;
- Draft report, advice, and correspondence;
- Review proposals and engagement letters prepared by junior staff;
- Review and organize paperwork, filing document and records;
- Draft technical updates for business development and marketing;
- Review translations;
- Other duties as directed;
- Bachelor of law or another related field;
- 2- or 3-years working experience in the field of law with in a law firm or corporation;
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and outlook);
- Good verbal and written communication in English;
- Organized and able to meet deadlines;
- Strong commitment and team work;
- Analytical ability
- Ability to supervise junior staff
Consultant Tax
Reporting to : Senior & Manager
Department : Tax
Working hour 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Tax assignment preparation and completion - applying an understanding of legislation and the interpretation of case law, producing well researched and analysed tax opinions
- Apply an understanding of financial statements and their relevance to the tax function
- Prepare and undertake client tax calculations that are accurate and comply with all legal requirements
- Apply knowledge of relevant non-tax financial and business information
- Assist managers and partners in pro-actively managing client relationships, respond to all client queries in an effective and timely manner. Assist in formulating solutions to client problems/issues as well as identifying value-added opportunities
- Address any knowledge gaps through learning and adaptation as appropriate
- Contribute to continuous improvement of in-house systems and procedures

Secretary Tax
Reporting to : Manager & Partner
Department : Tax
Working hour 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Assist in local and international travel bookings and reservation promptly for Department follow KPMG policy. (Ticket & hotel accommodation)
- Prepare proposal and/or engagement letter/contract with existing clients, type or translate document (for internal or external use) in accordance the KPMG template standards.
- Control the fees stationary and paper order monthly
- Coordinate logistics needed for training, meeting. Assist in the administrative request of department and P/D needs including petty cash and office supply inventory
- Assist on policy compliance for department including timesheets, overtime, and clean desk.
- A university degree in Management, Accounting, Finance or related field;
- Good command in Khmer and English, other languages is a plus
- Proficiency in computer (Microsoft, Internet, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible and able to work under pressure;
- Ability to liaise with people at all levels is essential;
