Role Purpose
Provide proactive, hands‑on support to the HR Manager by designing and delivering team engagement activities, managing HR administration (payroll coordination, visas, HRIS and records), coordinating full‑cycle recruitment and structured internship placements, and co‑facilitating practical training and train‑the‑trainer sessions to ensure skills transfer, compliance, and a people‑centred workplace. In parallel, lead island HR strategy and governance, oversee daily people operations, and run a results‑driven L&D agenda that builds frontline capability, supervisory leadership, and sustainability‑centred behaviours.
- HR Operations & Administration
- Assist the HR Manager with daily HR strategy execution, project delivery, and decision-making support.
- Ensure statutory compliance with Cambodian labour law, social security, taxation and work permits; prepare for audits and inspections.
- Support end-to-end HR operations: recruitment, contracts, onboarding, probation reviews, payroll liaison, performance management, leave, attendance, and personnel records.
- Maintain accurate audit‑ready personnel files and HR records across Keka HR, BambooHR, shared drives and hard‑copy files; prepare monthly HR metrics and reports.
- Support payroll coordination, visa/work permit processing, passport expiry tracking and HR Keka profile updates.
- Administer recruitment coordination, applicant tracking, interview scheduling, reference checks, offer letters and probation paperwork.
- Support Staff Shop operations: rostering, basic purchasing, support, attendant training, inventory checks, staff credit, and submission of reports.
- Prepare regular HR reports such as payroll reports, employment contracts, recruitment, leave, attendance, learning reports, and other required reports.
- Employee Relations
- Assist or lead investigations and complex employee relations cases; coach line staff/supervisors, conduct investigations, disciplinary, and grievance processes, and document case resolution.
- Ensure disciplinary and grievance procedures follow best practice and are fully documented.
- Maintain complete and confidential HR case files.
- Recruitment
- Manage full recruitment lifecycle: role design, sourcing, selection, offers and onboarding logistics adapted to island operations and budgeted headcount.
- Build and maintain relationships with employment agencies, universities, schools, recruitment companies, NGO’s, and hospitality schools.
- Design and run a structured internship programme: sourcing partners, placement plans, mentorship, competency milestones, evaluation and conversion recommendations.
- Deliver island‑specific induction and role buddy systems to accelerate seasonal and permanent hires; run formal new‑hire orientations and HR Essentials induction.
- Learning and development
- Maintain training calendar and manage relationships with external language and training vendors.
- Design, deliver and measure a multi‑year L&D strategy focused on induction, service excellence, safety, sustainability and bilingual capability.
- Develop bilingual, icon‑based job aids, facilitator guides, micro‑learning, video demos and multi‑media training tools.
- Coordinate training logistics, maintain inventory of training supplies, and prepare training venues and AV.
- Maintain a database of learning records, record training attendance and outcomes in the L&D databases; issue certificates and keep audit‑ready training records.
- Lead train‑the‑trainer cohorts and coach supervisors to embed on‑the‑job coaching and regular competency audits.
- Engagement, well-being and culture
- Support the HR Manager to plan, budget and deliver team engagement activities, wellbeing initiatives, cultural celebrations and recognition programmes (e.g., Song Saa Superstars, Heroes awards, long‑service).
- Support wellbeing and recognition programmes; coordinate events and recognition activities
- Create and maintain staff activity calendars and capture highlights for internal communications.
- Lead practical, low‑resource staff events and learning activations on‑island; coordinate logistics, budgets and post‑event feedback.
- Design recognition moments and simple rituals that reinforce Song Saa’s values and sustainability commitments.
- Safety, compliance and external liaison
- Integrate Sustainability and Marine Protection into training, SOPs and daily briefings;
- Support HSE training and emergency preparedness, liaise with Security Manager, Resort Doctor and external partners as required.
- Translate SOPs into simple visual tools for supervisors and frontline teams and support departmental compliance audits.
- Budgeting, vendors and reporting
- Manage HR and L&D budgets; select and oversee external trainers, language partners and HR service providers.
- Provide regular HR and learning reports to HR Manager with actionable recommendations.
- Grooming
- Ensure that you set the example for all other Song Saa family members to follow with regards to grooming and Song Saa Style.
- Monitor the grooming standards of your staff members and follow up appropriately to ensure that these standards are up held

- Follow all Song Saa rules and regulations as it is difficult to maintain discipline in your department if you do not follow these 100%.

Spa Supervisor

- Be an accessible representative for guests, directing all guest comments and feedback to relevant departments

Assist the Security Manager in supervising and controlling of the day-to-day security operations and overall performance of the Security Department. To ensure adequate supervision and surveillance in accordance with all security aspects.

- Security Operations
- Co-ordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of the Security Department.
- Establish and implement new procedures by which to achieve short and long term goals of improving security for our guests, staffs and the property.
- Prepare full and accurate reports after each shift schedule.
- Ensure all staffs are fully conversant with extensive emergency procedure involving fire, bomb threat, death, drowning, suicide, etc...
- Make confidential investigation of on staffs as requested by Security Manager, Human Resources & Training Manager or General Manager.
- Ensure at the procedure of patrolling around resort premises.
- Develop and maintain on-going instruction for staff.
- Attend to guest's complaint or problem immediately and taking proper, prompt and corrective action.
- Ensure that all guards are at their designated posts performing their assigned duties.
- Attend daily pre-shift briefing to the Security Officers.
- Make regular checks to ensure that emergency aids such as fire extinguisher, emergency lights are in working order.
- Monitor all activities in public areas to ensure adequate security coverage is maintained.
- Responsible for ensuring the doors, passageways, emergency doors, office fridge and stores are locked during the night.
- Be alert and to report as recording in the log book, unwanted / suspicious character or unusual occurrence such as incidents or situations that may pose danger or trouble with the resort / building, guests or staffs.
- Ensure that the Timekeeper scrutinize and control over staffs as well as unknown persons entering or leaving the Resort.
- Administer or arrange First Aid Treatment in case accidents occur on the resort premises.
- Be fully familiar with the handling of a fire alarm situation.
- Ensure all guards on duty are well groomed ( with clean shoes and uniform ).
- Be constantly alert for security or safety breach detrimental to the Resort.
- Patrol and spot check the security performance at the staff village and give the constructive feedbacks to the Security Manager and the department concerned for a prompt action.
- COORDINATION
- Attend the meeting and training when requested by the management.
- Promote the overall knowledge about the resort in general and about the resort services.
- Develop a good working knowledge of the Security Department.
- Keep updated with all current information, attend department meetings. Be aware of the daily activities and meeting which taken.
- Coordinates and works very closely with all departments in regards to criminal acts within the resort or suspicious guests.
- PERSONNEL AND STAFFING
