Administrative and Data Officer

Position Summary

Assist the Sustainability Manager, based in Bousra - Mondulkiri, in the fields of data management and administrative tasks.

Conditions

Salary + Bonus upon experience and qualifications, Plantation package (housing, health care, rice)

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, invitations and taking minutes.
  • Handle document printing, filing, photocopying, and general clerical tasks, as well as assist in administrative processes such as reporting and translation.
  • Process Documentation & Record Keeping
  • Document activities, internal procedures, and templates used across the Sustainability Department.
  • Maintain well-organized records (both hard and soft copies) for audits, certification, and internal review.
  • Data Collection, Entry, Consolidation & Analysis
  • Support the department’s team in collecting and entering data into spreadsheets, templates, and databases.
  • Collect and analyze data in other to support the follow-up of department activities and various strategic action plans.
  • Assist in preparing simple reports and summary tables by consolidating input from different teams.
  • Knowledge Management
  • Help to set up, maintain and update the department's shared drive.
  • Organize and back up data for easy access and recovery
  • Ensure key reference materials, reports, and communications are properly named, categorized, and accessible.
  • Support to Monitoring & Evaluation and Communication
  • Assist in monitoring and updating key performance indicators and logical frameworks relevant to departmental goals in order to track the progress of the department’s activities
  • Help with compiling data and documentation for group-level reporting.
  • Support the preparation of presentations and/or simple visual summaries.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • University Degree in Business Administration, data management or a related field
  • Minimum 1 year in an administrative, secretarial, or data support role.
  • Fluent in Khmer
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Strong attention to detail and very good organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and cloud storage (Google Drive, OneDrive, or similar)
  • Sociable with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work with different teams and follow up on information as needed
  • Integrity in handling confidential information and data

Purchasing Officer

Position Summary

Location: Headquarter office

Conditions

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Market analysis and updating local supplier’s database from time to time
  • Confirming all purchases are conducted in keeping with standards (quality, price, service and ethics)
  • Strictly follow the procurement procedures and organize the different stages in the local and regional purchasing of goods and services: market surveys, ordering, monitoring, receipt, conformity checks
  • Check in merchandise bought by head office: customs controls and conformity checks
  • Manage the local transport of merchandise from PP to Plantation & decide on the choice of transport
  • Methods and packaging, planning and monitoring of dispatches, following administrative formalities
  • Choose the storage places for merchandise and decide how they are to be set out
  • Organize any distribution of merchandise within the plantation/HQ
  • Visit to the Plantation from time to time to check the adherence to the procedures by the field staff

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/ Management, or related field
  • At least three years’ experience

Human Resources Assistant

Position Summary

Location: Headquarter office, Phnom Penh

Providing information and clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources activities, policies, processes and procedures.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives
  • Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)
  • Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes
  • Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc)
  • Communicate with public services when necessary
  • Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures
  • Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees

  • Bachelor in Human Resources
  • At least one year of experience are required.

Communication Officer

Position Summary

Assist the Sustainability and Communication Manager in the field of communication.

Location: Bousra, Mondulkiri

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Carry out a weekly press review
  • Monitor the media about relevant topics linked to the company’s operations
  • Write position papers when media coverage requires to do so
  • Meets regularly with and follows-up the company’s communication agency activities (social networks management, public relations, design)
  • Writes, edits, and distributes content including: Facebook publications, press releases, corporate presentation, corporate video and other marketing material that communicates the organization's activities, products and/or services;
  • Prepares a monthly report about the communication activities for the management
  • Creates and produces internal newsletters
  • Collaborates with the management and the agency to develop and implement an effective communications strategy based on the Socfin Group communication strategy in order to ensure coordination and proactivity in Socfin Cambodia’s communications
  • Supports in the preparation of internal communication materials about occupational health, safety and the environment
  • Supports the Sustainability and Communication manager in the preparation and distribution of the yearly Sustainability Report
  • Translates communication materials to Khmer when needed
  • Collaborates with the management to develop and implement relevant communication procedures and ensure the respect of relevant communication guidelines
  • Seeks opportunities to enhance the reputation of the Company
  • Any other relevant tasks related to the area of work as requested
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • University Degree in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Media and Entertainment or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a communication role. Such an experience in the agricultural/environmental sector in Cambodia is a plus.
  • Excellent command of English and Khmer
  • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, Social media platforms)
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills;
  • Very good organizational skills
  • Knowledge of publishing software (InDesign/Photoshop/Canva) is a plus
  • Ability to live on a plantation (remote site) for 1-2 weeks per month
  • Flexible, autonomous, creative and able to meet deadline

Position Summary

For health department in charge to provide first help and current health care to employee.
