The Cambodian Children’s Fund, Child Protection Unit, in partnership with the Cambodian National Police and supporting organizations, is committed to providing the highest level of service to child victims of abuse, assault, or major crime, regardless of gender, cultural background, or impairment.

The CCF, Child Protection Unit is a unique Organisation that officially commenced operations on the 10th of July 2013 under the authority of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Cambodian Ministry of Interior. Since its inception, the CPU has expanded to include all 25 provinces across Cambodia. The CPU is recognised as a leader in the investigation of serious crimes committed against children, for the care and support provided to child victims and the forensics services utilized during investigations.

The CPU provides support, aftercare, investigative support, investigative resources, forensic resources and expertise, major crime coordination, training, and capacity building to detect, deter and disrupt offenses, and furthermore prosecute those that commit these horrific crimes against children.

Administrative Assistant

Position Summary

About Administrative Assistant

Note: For Cambodian applications Only

Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing support the administrative activities to all departments, schools and CCF facilities include arranging the transportation, meeting room, logistics, preparing refreshment, providing stationery, household and IT equipment as needed, assisting to manage the expenditures and maintenance in general administrative activities.

Report to: Administrative Supervisor

Manage: Cleaner and Security Guard

Key liaison: All Staff

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Transportation, logistic and meeting arrangement
  • Provide transport arrangement for staff/student on timely.
  • Coordinate meeting and other training rooms with effectively.
  • Prepare the refreshment for any meeting or training as requested
  • Assist to provide logistic arrangement and concept in event set up.
  • Stock Stationery, Household and IT equipment management
  • Request the stock of stationary and household from warehouse for support all departments, schools and CCF facilities.

  • Maintenance support
  • Maintain cleanliness of the school premises and office area and make sure the school premise, office and properties are safe and secured.

Child Protection Officer

Position Summary

Location: Ta Khmau, Kandal Province

About: Position Summary

CPO plays a crucial role in providing support to the child victim and their family, ensuring their welfare and safety, and collaborating with law enforcement and social services agencies to intervene in cases of abuse. This position has to work closely with all types of children and community people and requires working with high commitment and compassion for children and their families.

Report to: National Manager of Welfare Service

Manage: Victims/assessment

Key liaison: All programs

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Provide aftercare services to victims/clients, including trauma counseling
  • Follow and take directions from Child Protection Coordinator and Senior Management
  • Assist Investigators and Police in the interview of victims and their family
  • Liaise with lawyers, government officials such as the Police, other relevant ministries, and other NGO partners.
  • Accompany victims and their families at court
  • Prepare all aftercare documents relating to client matters and keep accurate and detailed care management records, both in electronic and hard copy
  • Follow up with victims/families/lawyer/ court regularly
  • Travel to numerous provinces where necessary to complete the applicable tasks
  • Act professionally as a public representative of the CPU and promote the CPU’s work at appropriate forums
  • Do monthly reports and victim assessment form

Aftercare Specialist

About: Position Summary

Aftercare specialists play a crucial role in helping victims/patients maintain their recovery and achieve long-term success. This position provides support and guidance to victims and their families who have completed court procedures or treatment in addition to family issues, mental health issues, or other challenges. This role helps our child victims transition back into their daily lives by providing ongoing support.

Report to: National Manager of Welfare and aftercare Service

Manage: Victims/assessment

Key liaison: All programs

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Ensure health and safety of patients/​victims
  • Follow-up therapy, condition evaluations of patients/victims
  • Collaborates with the clinical and medical staff to establish the client’s aftercare needs and provides follow-up on services

Maintenance Worker

Position Summary

The maintenance worker position is responsible for handling a variety of maintenance requests on property tasks and maintaining the office’s buildings. The incumbent ensures all issues of maintenance are addressed promptly.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Perform routine building and property maintenance duties, including exteriors, office interiors, and all locations under CPU with minor repairing such as replacing locks, doors, furniture, light fittings, broken windows, leaking taps, pumps, and plumbing, and maintaining water purifier system as well
  • Promptly respond to emergency calls for maintenance and repairs
  • Maintain proper scheduling of assigned duties and obtain materials to perform cost-effective maintenance and repair activities
  • Inspect all locations under maintenance control about the progress
  • Prepare budget and plan for maintenance projects as required
  • Record and update maintenance statuses and follow up on all maintenance projects promptly without any issues
  • Liaise with relevant staff concerning any maintenance during renovation
  • Monitor and ensure on fire extinguisher, utilities maintenance, and CPU generators are well-functioning
  • Ensure the drainage system is clean by schedule
  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly maintenance reports with proper supporting documentation

IT Officer

Position Summary

About: Position Summary

IT Officer is responsible for ensuring the operation of IT runs smoothly, efficiently, and effectively to the CPU that uses Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the building to enhance and improve all staff work areas.

Report to: CPU, Deputy Director

Manage: TBC

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Daily Provides helpdesk support to systems at all levels.
  • Troubleshooting system PCs, Email, Data security, and Internet problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults with CPU’s computer
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating system, and applications.
  • Provide support for computer and information technology peripheral devices such as Printers, routers, and Wi-Fi routers.
  • Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system including procedural documentation.
  • Ensure a secure system by assisting with regular anti-virus and MS. Windows security updates, and data backup.
  • Administration of user access to the network.
  • Assist with annual audits and development to guide the replacement of existing hardware/software applications Inclusive of information communication technology and make schedule changes.
  • Assist the procurement team in checking the purchased equipment that relates to Information Technology.
  • Prepare and maintain computer network infrastructure and process documentation for the branch level and analyze the network for future needs.
  • Prepare and forecast the storage size needed and the number of backup media for the branch level.
  • Update IT assets information, log incidents, and participate in incident response.

Manage: Nursing in Medical Clinic

Key liaison: Welfare and Protection Program/CPO

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Practice nursing in the medical clinic
  • Daily input of the medicines data
  • Update stock of medical supplies in clinic storage
  • Welcome patients/victims who come to receive services at the medical clinic
  • Provide medical care to patients/victims with care and professional
  • Perform medication counts twice a month
  • Provide training to the internal staff
  • Assist in dealing with problems related to healthcare
  • Build good communication with community people, hospitals NGO partners, and the government sector

The Media and Marketing position is in charge of promoting the organization’s activities on Social Media, such as the Facebook page, and CPU website to the public. Their key functions include branding and positioning, advertising and promotions, content creation, public relations, market research and analysis, digital marketing, event planning, and performance tracking.

  • Develop, implement, and manage our social media and communication strategy
  • Manage and overseas social media content/campaign and communicate content
  • Develop and implement supporter journeys to assist with audience definition, content, and timing
  • Define the digital media KPIs, monthly reporting of analytics, and measure the success of digital campaigns
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Use social media marketing tools, Google Analytics, Facebook/Social media insights, Hootsuite
  • Copywriting and basic design are needed as well as working alongside our photographers, videographers, and designers, to ensure content is informative and appealing
