THE ROLE
As a Partnerships/Grants Officer, based in our HQ in Phnom Penh, you will be:
- identifying funding opportunities
- preparing/coordinating funding proposals
- managing funding relationships
- ensuring grant contract compliance
In this role, you’ll work with diverse donors, with many opportunities to witness FI’s projects in Cambodia and the region. You will be a member of our growing multicultural Partnerships team. This is a great chance for a growing professional seeking a location near field teams and operations.

- Working with our Technical Assistant in Laos to gather information and prepare a proposal for the expansion of the Program in Luang Prabang
- Prepare a field visit for a new potential donor interested in funding our ChildSafe Agent network in Phnom Penh
- Coordinate the completion of a yearly narrative report for a multi-country donor for education
- Accompanying our Social Workers in the field to understand better the needs in a new outreach area and include it in the new proposal for the Saving Lives program
- Conduct regular meetings with our supporters in Australia and work with them on concept notes
- Implement a volunteer engagement activity in collaboration with the HR team that will be implemented together with an important corporate donor
- Regularly input information and derive reports for analytics from Salesforce
- Deliver basic training on ‘Working with donors’ which you will deliver to a group of growing fundraisers from FI and our partners

Childsafe Experiences Leader

THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity for a tourism professional who would like to make a positive impact on their local communities.
As a “ChildSafe Experiences” Leader, based at our HQ in Phnom Penh, you will:
- Lead the on-site management, facilitation, and development of tourism experiences
- Work with teams to deliver educational tourism experiences
- Work with a wide range of stakeholders such as travelers, students, and visitors to Cambodia
- Build connections with local and international partners, from large multinational companies to small, community-based tourism enterprises
You will be a member of our growing International ChildSafe team.

ChildSafe Partnerships Administration Officer
Are you experienced in project administration? Would you like to use your skills in supporting our teams to protect children wherever they are?

THE ROLE
As the ChildSafe Partnerships Administration Officer, based at our HQ in Phnom Penh, you will:
- Run the partnership system’s administration and data collection processes
- Support the training process of partners (tour agencies, schools, hospitality businesses, social enterprises etc.)
- Work with our offices and implementing partners in other countries
- This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team and help us scale our ChildSafe partnerships network and make a bigger positive impact on local communities.

- Monitor and respond to emails to new inquiries about ChildSafe Partnerships.
- Schedule and onboard a learning cohort of 25 people to attend ChildSafe Awareness training and coordinate and support ChildSafe trainers to deliver this.
- Managing technology platforms linked to the project and regularly inputting information and deriving reports for analytics from Salesforce
- Support liaison with ChildSafe partners linked to tools and guidance on ChildSafe standards
- Host and coordinate teams for online meetings with ChildSafe Partnerships

Beautician and Hairstylist
Are you experienced working in a beauty/barber shop? Do you also enjoy supporting others to learn new skills? If you answered ‘yes’ then you may just be the person we need.
We are opening an international standard shop in the creative space of Friends Futures Factory located at the heart of Phnom Penh. You’ll be working together with 2 other colleagues on providing service to customers from all around the world. You will also be in regular contact with apprentices who aspire to become beauticians and hairstylists. In this role, you’ll have a chance to learn and grow as a professional while at the same time being a role model for young people.
- Work with the salon team to keep the shop attractive and equipment clean and safe
- Greet locals and customers from abroad and provide a high-quality beauty treatment
- Show an apprentice how to provide a permanent hair straightening service to customers
- Discuss with your team about improving our manicure, pedicure and nail art service offer
- Check the product stock and purchase new supplies as needed

We are opening an international standard shop in the creative space of Friends Futures Factory located at the heart of Phnom Penh. You’ll be selling various products such as accessories, jewellery, clothes etc. These products are carefully made by communities using sustainable or recycled materials. You will also be in regular contact with apprentices who aspire to become successful shop sellers. In this role, you’ll have a chance to learn and grow as a professional while at the same time being a role model for young people.

You’ll be working together with colleagues on preparing a menu consisting of local and international dishes for customers from all around the world. You will also be in regular contact with apprentices who aspire to become successful chiefs. In this role, you’ll have a chance to learn and grow as a professional while at the same time being a role model for young people.

Employment Project Technical Advisor

THE ROLE
As an Employment Project Technical Advisor, preferably based in Siem Reap you will be developing, updating and standardizing our existing tools used in implementing Employment project activities which include vocational training, soft skills, job placement and self-employment. You will also be revising our training materials and supporting trainers in improving the delivery of the content. Through this, you’ll work with our teams on the ground and you’ll have many chances to visit the field and see Friends’ projects. This will be a 12 months fixed duration mission.
