- Being the principal contact with clients on day to day tax matters
- Involving on tax advisory and planning work on a client portfolio
- Discussing new tax ideas with clients
- Working with specialists to deliver expertise to the local market
- Responding appropriately to requests from clients for other KPMG Services;
- Planning compliance work and taking responsibility for managing the process through to submission of tax computations
- Reviewing corporation tax computations
- Liaising with the client service team and with colleagues in Audit and other functions to provide a co-ordinated service to the client;
- Advising clients on the treatment of contentious issues
- Monitoring the tax compliance position
- Being awareness of international tax issues
- Providing clear directions, positive and constructive feedback
- Coaching & developing less experienced staff
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant subjects, e.g. Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law
- Ideally ACCA/ CPA qualified (or equivalent)
- At least 5 years’ experience in either external and/or internal tax function
- Proficiency in spoken and written English;
- Takes personal responsibility and accountability for work

Assistant Manager Operation
Location: KPMG Cambodia Ltd
Reporting to: Partner & Director, Deal, Tax, Legal (DTL)
- Executing the Firmwide and Functional (DTL) Operation programs / initiatives to be consistent between VNM and PNH offices;
- Providing the recap on budget achievement tracking, financial performance, summary of people issues;
- Alerting the management when relevant any significant events and recommending solutions;
- Providing management with analysis and report to facilitate the management decision making;
- Assisting the monthly leadership meeting, follow up management decisions and action points;
- Extracting and compiling relevant monthly and quarterly reports;
- Ensure the follow up of WIP management, timely billing and timesheet hygiene;
- Initiating and scheduling mandatory training to promote compliance culture across DTL functions;
- Initiating and coordinating with innovation team to build up a practical and efficient work environment;
- Assist business lines to finalize the anticipation of headcount budget;
- Working closely with Finance, HR, PPC, Infra/Admin team to facilitate a smooth flow of operations within the office and ensure efficiency at all levels;
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field or equivalent work experience;
- At least five years of work experience in a relevant position in a multinational company;
- Very strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills (both Cambodian and English);
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; self-starter and detail-focused; confidence in dealing with senior management level; flexibility in working overtime when deadlines need to be met;
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work,
- Ability to work on projects and assignments as a team and individually;
- Having an audit, advisory and/or tax background is a plus;
Senior Tax Consultant
Function: Corporate Tax
Working hour 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Assist to obtain new laws and regulations;
- Research, clarify and give briefings on laws and regulations;
- Review work of junior staff, coach and guide junior staff to complete tasks within timelines;
- Review documents for submission to relevant institutions or clients;
- Draft report, advice, and correspondence;
- Review proposals and engagement letters prepared by junior staff;
- Review and organize paperwork, filing document and records;
- Draft technical updates for business development and marketing; review translations;
- Other duties as directed;
- Bachelor of law or another related field;
- 2- or 3-years working experience in the field of law with in a law firm or corporation;
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and outlook);
- Good command of English (advanced)
- Good at speaking and writing of English languages team to serve and support for the Chinese clients.
- A willingness to travel as business demands.
Assistant Corporate
Location: KPMG Cambodia Ltd
Reporting to: Senior & Manager
Department : Corporate Service
- Assist to obtain new laws and regulations; research, clarify and give briefings on laws and regulations;
- Prepare documents for review; file documents with relevant institutions;
- Draft correspondence for review by senior staff; prepare proposals and engagement letters for review by senior staff;
- Organize paperwork and filing of documents and records; assist senior staff with document translations;
- Draft technical updates for business development and marketing;
- Provide administrative support to the team;
- Other duties as directed.
- Fresh graduate or undergraduate of at least year 4 in the field of law, IR, and International Business
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook);
- Good verbal and written communication in English;
- Organized and able to meet deadlines;
- Strong commitment and teamwork
Assistant Operation

Reporting to: Assistant Manager
Department : Tax
- Assist in executing the Firmwide and Functional Tax Operation programs/initiatives to be consistent between VNM and PNH offices;
- Assist in providing the recap on budget achievement tracking, financial performance, summary of people issues;Assist in taking the lead in facilitating a smooth flow of operations within the office and ensure efficiency at all levels
- Assist in providing greater variety of work to existing staff through internal transfers, global mobility
- Assist in alerting the management when relevant any significant events and recommending solutions;
- Assist in arranging the monthly leadership meeting, following up management decisions and action points;
- Assist in providing resource planning and anticipation of staffing needs; staff motivation and retention
- Assist in extracting and compiling relevant monthly and quarterly reports; Tracking and maintaining various Excel listings and reports (i.e. WIP report, time sheet etc.)
- Assist in initiating and coordinating with innovation team to build up a practical and efficient work environment;
- Assist in business lines to finalize the anticipation of headcount budget;
- Assist in working closely with Finance, HR, PPC, Infra/Admin team to facilitate a smooth flow of operations within the office and ensure efficiency at all levels;
