As local partner to answer a tender from the Asian Development Bank, Sevea is looking for a National Procurement Specialist to complete a team of experts. The consultancy focuses on Energy Efficiency initiatives and adoption in Cambodia. The specialist will assist and work in coordination with the international procurement specialist in the preparation of all procurement documents of the feasibility study.
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering or another relevant subject.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement working with donor programmes. Past experience working for the Asian Development Bank (ADB) is highly appreciated.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and able to communicate complex ideas.
Surveyors

Salary range: Minimum 100 USD per week (depending on educational background and experience). Travel expenses are covered by the company.
- All the surveyors will be trained to conduct the survey.
- Call and schedule meetings with participants in each survey site
- Obtain participant consent and enrol participants.
- Conduct interviews (physically) and record results.
- Make primary quality check of completed questions.
- Make appointments for the next participants to be interviewed.
- Check all forms before handing to supervisor.
- Report any difficulties to supervisor.
- University degree preferred.
- Good oral and written communication skills (in Khmer; in English would be a plus).
- Good personal skills. Enumerators must be able to interact with people from a variety of backgrounds and explain the survey.
- Good attention to detail.
- Technology skills (surveyors will use tablets or smartphone to record GPS coordinates, enter participants’ responses, etc.).
- Prior experience with data collection preferred.
- Interest in Agriculture or Rural Development preferred.
National Expert in Agricultural Finance

- As part of the team of experts, the national expert will participate in:
- Identifying and characterizing (from technical and financial point of view) target groups in the aquaculture sector and the nature of their demand for financial and business development services.
- Identifying and assessing the main Local Financial Institutions (LFIs) involved in or willing to engage in aquaculture and the obstacles that need to be addressed in order to strengthen their engagement.
- Assessing the need for financial products and capacity building on the supply side (LFI).
- Providing recommendations to design the approach to support access to financial products and services for aquaculture actors as well as non-financial services for both aquaculture stakeholders and partner LFIs.
- Cambodian national only.

Energy Engineer

- As an energy engineer on solar and energy efficiency, you will need to:
- Support the commercial development of solar and energy efficiency services of the company.
- Develop knowledge and technical expertise of the company in Solar and energy efficiency.
- Support programs and consultancy on energy efficiency (energy audit, buildings energy management, recommendations to reduce electricity bills and act as an energy efficiency engineer/expert in front of clients).
- Support studies and projects related to Solar such as SWITCH to Solar project. This project aims to integrate solar in agriculture and aquaculture sector (such as solar water pump, solar powered Agri technologies for hydroponics or greenhouses, cold storage, aerator, etc.).
- Work on solar farms when required as Deputy Project Manager or Project Manager for the Owners Engineers
- University degree in Engineering (energy, renewables, electrical engineering preferred).

Entrepreneurship Programs Coordinator

Sevea is conducting multiple projects focusing on entrepreneurship, with a strong focus on acceleration, mentoring and coaching. We are working with a range of entrepreneurs, spanning multiple stages from idea stage prospective entrepreneurs to more mature business owners and multiple sectors, including Clean Energy, Agri-Fisheries, Agri-Industry and women entrepreneurship. We are looking for a self-led, tech-savvy, team player who is passionate about strengthening the entrepreneurship eco-system in Cambodia to join our entrepreneurship and SME development team. The person will be working on various projects, for high impact clients in the entrepreneurship space including USAID, UNDP, and EU
- The Entrepreneurship Programs Coordinator will:
- Support the implementation of multiple entrepreneurship programs, including but not limited to, serving as the key focal point for all engagement with participants, organising and facilitating entrepreneurship events, collection of key information for reporting to clients, and organising and updating participant information on program databases to ensure timely communication of participant information across all of the team, especially with the key Sevea coaches.
- Use multiple platforms including but not limited to Mural, Jam Board, Google Suite, Microsoft Online, Mentimeter, Padlet, Zoom and Canva in order to help the team to design new online learning materials, and refine existing materials, to ensure seamless and immersive online workshops for all program participants.
- Assist in the design, contextualisation, translation and facilitation of entrepreneurship content for a wide range of audiences, and be willing to be trained to take on the roles and responsibilities of a junior coach.
- Actively participate in reflection meetings to assist the team with their learning and reflection process, and facilitate the improvement of participant and program outcomes
- Assist in outreach and communication activities related to entrepreneurship programs, to assist the team in reaching program Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Occasionally assist in projects across various sectors outside of entrepreneurship, including WASH, Energy, Agriculture and Rural Development.
- Bachelor or master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or disciplines related to entrepreneurship. Mixed Profile is an asset.
- Experience learning new skills on the job and working as part of dynamic teams.Able to communicate openly and in real time with team members and direct supervisors, comfortable to alert direct supervisors when there are issues, and to play a proactive role in the problem-solving process
