Accounting Manager

Position Summary

Report to: Head of Finance

Job Overview

  1. To produce the accurate financial statement and other reports on the timely basis
  2. To handle all company’s taxation in accordance with Tax department
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Operations
  • Manage daily financial accounting activities, balance sheet, income statement and the other relevant report as requirement of manager
  • Check supporting documents for all business’s affairs to ensure accuracy and
  • Make sure that, the business affairs must be correctly recorded in accordance with CIFRS chart of account
  • Produce the financial statements to management as per timeline.
  • Liquidity Management Strategies
  • Forecast cash payments and anticipate challenges arising from limited cash flow.
  • Ensuring that cash flows are adequate to allow business units to operate effectively.
  • Maintain banking relationships for business purposes.Analyse the trends and financial partiality of revenues and expenses.
  • Tax Declaration & Strategies Management
  • Prepare monthly/annual tax return for GDT as well as identifying and mitigating the tax risks.
  • Technical support, supervision, guidance and coach to staffs in headquarter and branches in term of accounting standard and taxation.
  • Budget Monitoring Management
  • Support Head of Finance to complete the yearly company’s budget setting up by working in collaboration with all departments.
  • Monitor all capital expenditures and expenditures in term of cost control.
  • Fixed Asset Management
  • Conduct Fixed asset management and filling management system.
  • Audit Affairs Management
  • Arrange and support financial audits and reviews as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree is required (Degree in Finance & Banking preferred).
  • At least 5 years of working experiences including 2 year in management role in the banking/MFI sector.
  • Clear understanding and experience of micro-finance industry and retail banking.
  • Determined personality with the ability to motivate and manage team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and highly self-motivated.
  • Advanced analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency with high level of commitment and determination to deliver a great result.

Head of Tax Unit

Position Summary

Report to: Accounting and Finance Manager

Job Overview

Ensure the Accounting transactions are well recorded into the bookkeeping procedure in line with Finance & Accounting policy & procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Accounting Bookkeeping & Closing Entry
  • Prepare the monthly tax return such as Prepayment of Profit Tax (PPT), Withholding Tax (WHT), Salary and Fringe Benefit Tax (SFBT), Value Added Tax (VAT), and submit to General Department of Taxation (GDT) no later than deadline
  • Prepare Annual Tax Return such as Annual Tax on Income (ToI), Patent Tax, signboard tax, and other taxes and submission in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe
  • Manage and coordinate tax queries in all type of tax audit such as limited tax audit, and comprehensive (final) tax audit from General Department of Taxation (GDT)
  • Understand, analyze, and process financial accounting data so that legal documents can be properly presented to the General Department of Taxation.
  • Prepare policy, guideline, and memo related to taxation
  • Keep alert up to date for management and team regarding to the update/change in law/regulation of taxation
  • Cooperate with any tax audit requirements from internal, and external
  • Identify and mitigate tax risks
  • Create a tax strategy and procedures to help the company maintain or improve its benefits.
  • Assist management team in preparing and updating workflow process manuals
  • Organize and manage all tax reports, statements and documents related
  • Support and advances to branches and other department on tax matters
  • Manage and maintain company’s tax database.
  • Make tax payments at banks.
  • Any other relevant tasks, advised by line manager.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance or other equivalent degree is required
  • Diploma of Cambodia Taxation or Certificate of Tax Agency
  • Clear understanding and knowledge of Tax Law, Accounting & Finance, Business Law and other related regulations
  • Advanced level of Ms. Word and Ms. Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure and highly self-motivated.

Senior Accountant Officer

Job Overview

Ensure the Accounting transactions are well recorded into the bookkeeping procedure in line with Fin & Accounting policy & procedure.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Accounting & Bookkeeping
  • Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank.
  • Ensure completeness and proper documentation of all payments and follow Finance Process
  • Filling all type of vouchers and supporting documents in crono in order.
  • Book all transactions into respective bookkeeping accounts per company’s procedure.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet accounts reconciliation with general ledger and sufficient supporting documents.
  • Review cash management report by branches and head office
  • Prepare weekly report to NBC
  • Support to do EOD, EOM, and EOY
  • Support tax team to prepare the tax return
  • Verify the repayment from customers through payment channels
  • Process the inter-branch transfer from head office to branches or from branches to head office
  • Conduct physical cash count once a week
  • Assist in prepare the Financial Report, Monthly, Quarterly and Annually
  • Other tasks support assigned by manager
  • Branch Accounting Bookkeeping Support
  • Support all branches about Accounting Bookkeeping standards as per company’s regulation.

Job Overview

To ensure the effective risk management function and compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and internal policies, guidelines and procedures and the other responsibilities. The specific responsibilities of CRCO is to carry out, identification, prevention, monitoring and detection, resolution, and advisory of risk management including AML/ CFT.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • To conduct meetings of the Board and board committees established by the Board of Directors to be in line with laws, regulations, MA&A, corporate governance and best perform duty of secretary to the meeting.
  • To provide meeting reports, and pack of control function and executive management to Board of Directors
  • To provide information and documents relating to the company up on the request of Board member
  • To advise the Board of Directors and management on laws and regulations relevant to their duties and update new regulatory developments relating to the business of the Bayon Credit Plc. to Board of Directors on the timely basis.
  • To oversee insider information and conflict of interest practices of directors.
  • To oversee the right of shareholders and create good relationship with shareholders.
  • To monitor and supervise the Bank’s overall operation to comply with relevant laws and regulatory requirements including resolution of Board of Directors, resolution of annual general meeting of shareholders.
  • To file and keep the Bank’s important documentation such as certificate, MA&A, shareholder register, licenses and power of attorney, etc.
  • To push for guidelines that the Bank shall formulate policies, comply with good corporate governance and conduct regular review.
  • To maintain the confidential information on the due basis.
  • To act as contact person between the senior management and the Boards.
  • Taking minutes in AGM and Board meeting and drafting shareholder’s resolutions as well as the board’s resolution
  • Perform other tasks assigned by Board of Directors.
