Transport Supervisor
Reporting Line: Transport Manager
- Ensure local transport regulations Group / SMT / PATROM requirements are well implemented, and systems maintained in line with laid down procedures
- Be responsible to manage the Fleet Monitor of transporters team.
- Control that driver’s administration, training, and their performance to be in line with PATROM requirement
- Deploy and monitor training plan for transporter drivers involving transporters to ensure driver compliance to PATROM rules
- Assess the performance of transporters and drivers
- Deploy Safe to Dispatch with all Transporters to ensure Drivers/Truck are fully compliance according to the PATROM rules
- Audit the transporters that they are applying all the required norms and rules to be compliant in terms of HSEQ Management, Drivers Administration and Vehicles Up-keep
- Make sure that safe to load inspections are conducted regularly before a truck is used
- Plan, control, and conduct drivers training & their behavior control on the road
- Monitor & regularly ensure the functioning of each OBC/IVMS installed in the trucks
- Detect OBC/IVMS violations and take corrective action to minimize as well to eliminate them
- Carry out safety awareness /toolbox meetings/ with staff, transporters, and their drivers
- Perform Road Risk Assessment and communicate to the transporters and drivers
- Conduct Road risk assessment for all route plan to ensure all the risks are covered and mitigated. Refer to 1st Delivery procedure
- Deploy Critical Task Analysis process for transport team and transporter drivers
- Regular Reporting of Fleet Availability, performance & unsafe conditions
- Participate in preparing emergency preparedness, accident intervention and analysis using root cause method
- Analyze all Transport KPI and Reporting and Be responsible to organize the Monthly Transport Meeting (VP, HSEQ, Depot, Dispatch, Business Lines) and Conduct Analysis of Deviations/Near miss/accident (Client Complaints/Incidents/Losses/etc.) and propose Action Plans to Transport Manager and Acting VP Operations and Logistics
- Ensure adherence of personnel & transporters to emergency procedures
- Ensure Transport action plan implementation by focusing on the below:
- Focus on SMT/ Internal audit/ICT audit/ Transport committee meeting/ Transport conference action/ Accident action plan
- Ensure Compliance PATROM rules and local laws
- Loss/Fraud/ Internal Consumption Analysis Investigation
- Follow up and update Safe to Load, Truck and Trace, and other digital platform related to transport activities.
- Ensure Transport Master Action Plan is regularly updated base on finding/recommendation and ensure 100% close per deadline.
- To assist project from the regional to be the good practice.
- To check and release the available trucks in SAP (Create, Remove, Modify etc.)
- To involve the development process in SAP and digital tool in transport operations.
- Perform other similar duties as assigned by Transport Manager.
- University degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
- Proficiency in speaking, writing in English.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the field of Fleet management & Heavy-Duty Trucks Maintenance or related
- Possessed a highly developed safety consciousness.
- Display a characteristic of autonomy, self-motivation, loyalty, involvement, good interpersonal skills, good managerial skills & time management.
