Purpose
The purpose of this consultancy is to design and deliver an interactive and inclusive training that equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills to manage stress and build safe, respectful relationships in their personal and community lives.
Training’s objectives:
The objectives of the training are the following:
- Increase awareness of stress, its causes, and its impact on physical and emotional health.
- Equip participants with stress management and self-care techniques.
- Promote understanding of the characteristics of healthy and unhealthy relationships.
- Strengthen communication, emotional regulation, and boundary-setting skills.
- Create a safe and supportive learning space where participants can reflect, share, and practice.
Scope of Work:
The Consultant is expected to:
- Conduct a brief needs assessment (e.g., consult with staff or review past reports) to tailor training content.
- Design a 3-day training curriculum that integrates:
- Stress management and self-care
- Safe and healthy relationship principles
- Gender sensitivity and trauma-informed approaches
- Prepare training materials (presentation slides, handouts, exercises).
- Facilitate the full training workshop with approximately 15 participants.
- Submit a concise training report including participant feedback and recommendations.
Bidder Eligibility
- The selected consultant or consultancy team is expected to demonstrate the following qualifications and competencies:
- Proven experience in psychosocial support, counseling, mental health, or related fields.
- Strong background in facilitating trainings on stress management, emotional well-being, or gender-based violence.
- Familiarity with gender-sensitive, inclusive, and trauma-informed methodologies.
- Experience working with vulnerable populations in Cambodia (e.g., women, LGBTIQ, youth).
- Khmer language is a Must. Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
