Announcement Description

The Cambodia Center for Independent Media (CCIM) was established in 2007 with the goal of promoting independent media, freedom of expression, access to information (A2I), and internet freedom in Cambodia. CCIM offers various training programs in journalism, digital security, media, and information literacy for community members, citizen journalists, students, youth, and human rights defenders. Through its advocacy efforts, CCIM also documents cases of harassment against journalists and provides legal protection to journalists at risk.

As technology advances, an increasing number of news readers have switched to online platforms to access news and information relevant to their needs. Amid this changing landscape, journalists and media outlets must adapt to new technologies and new ways of publication to reach their audiences. To help journalists adapt to the shifting to digital media environment, CCIM seeks a qualified trainer to provide high-quality training on the necessary knowledge and practical skills to effectively produce news content for digital platforms and engage broader readers and audiences.
