Position Summary
Duties & Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities of the Trade Promotion Manager are as follows:
Lead interventions to support the Cambodian Government to promote trade and investment in the agri-food sector
Work with government partners on an agricultural trade information forum and promoting market intelligence
Lead interventions designed to promote and leverage trade under ASEAN, RCEP and CCFTA arrangements
Lead interventions to develop quality infrastructure policy in Cambodia
Work with government and investors/processors to promote productivity and export of high value crops and products
Requirements:
Selection Criteria
A Master’s degree in Economics, Agricultural Economics, Public Policy, Trade, Business Administration, Agronomy, Agribusiness, or a related field
At least five years of professional experience in the agriculture sector
Demonstrated experience working with private sector and government partners (preferably MOC, MEF and/or MAFF)
Demonstrated experience in partner coordination, event organisation, and project monitoring
Excellent verbal and written Khmer and English language communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work constructively in a team
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in working to raise awareness on trade arrangements such as RCEP, CCFTA, ASEAN is an advantage.
