Supply Chain Manager

Position Summary

Duration : 1 year contract

Department/Division: Finance Department

Report to: Head of Finance.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for planning, directing, and optimizing the administration of logistics management functions for all or most of the followings: inventory control, forecasting, warehousing, transportation & distribution, may also involve with procurement, customer services, production planning and customs.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Logistics Optimization
  • Ability to master stock management, related infrastructure and goods transfer processes considering planning, quality demands, planned quantities and costs constraints.
  • Understand the entire supply chain process and systems and international and local regulations, policy to provide expertise advice & support to business partners and stakeholders.
  • Establish KPIs for service provider to achieve the target and lead development and improvement to close the gaps.
  • Closely manage service provider’s performance, compliance and regularly refresh or brief to business partners to ensure efficiency and effectiveness operations.
  • Operations Planning & Performance Optimization
  • Maintain and develop operations planning by understanding the market demand, optimizing procurement, production, and operations performance by implementing performance assessment and continuous improvement systems.
  • Analyzes demand forecasts and identifies gaps with existing stocks or knows related key concepts.
  • Identifies impacts on physical flows (sequencing, planning, …) and escalates as needed.
  • Coordinate with key Sales & Marketing contacts for monthly sales forecast replenishment plan
  • Execute Logistics Operating Planning and Identifies performance problems, analyzes causes, and effects and escalates if needed.
  • Utilizes appropriately key planning concepts and tools and prepare Cost to Serve (CTS)
  • Physical asset management: Optimize operation assets (equipment, facilities, information systems and infrastructure, inventories) to ensure sustainability and deliver profitability through design, selection, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
  • Customer service and quality orientation: ensure service quality of delivering to customers or business partners toward products quality, quantity, timing and cost effective.
  • Production / Process management: Implement and optimize production/process management to meet the planned customer service levels, the required quality standard at the required cost.
  • Risk management: Identify and evaluate operation risks such as supply, quality (including food safety), safety, environment, security, regulatory compliance (including customs and excise), social and ethical (including reputation) and ensure there is proper plan to avoid or eliminate the risk to the business.
  • Project and Change management: lead and implement change to ensure new solutions are evaluated, adopted, and implemented (through alignment of business strategy, culture, structure, process, people, and the implementation of projects).
  • Business and financial acumen: understand the business from a holistic perspective and monitor costs, cash drivers and balance sheet impact of investments and to maximize cash and ROCE
  • Relationship building and communication: build, nurture and leverage quality and trusting relationship with effective communications to internal and external stakeholders
  • Creativity and innovation: maintain and develop a competitive advantage by proposing creative solutions in term of products, systems and process.
  • Procurement: manage the whole procurement cycle from business needs identification to suppliers’ relationship management
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Job Requirements:
  • Degree holder with formal business qualifications or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in customer service and logistics support functions.
  • Good working knowledge of JD Edwards and other supply chains or logistics operations systems
  • Good command of business communication in English
  • Must be able to prepare reports for analyzing and presentation skills.
