- Admissions Process
- Guide families step by step through the admissions process, ensuring clarity, fairness, and transparency.
- Organize assessments, interviews, and placement in collaboration with the front desk staff and academic leaders while upholding fair and integer practices.
- Ensure admissions decisions are aligned with the school’s mission, values, and commitment to valuing diversity and serving all families with respect.
- Parent Engagement from Day One
- Actively involve parents from the start of the admissions process, helping them understand the school’s philosophy, expectations, and opportunities for engagement.
- Promote the idea that parent engagement is essential to improve a child’s learning and well-being.
- Ensure parents feel empowered and connected to the school community, strengthening their commitment to their child’s education.
- Communication & Cultural Sensitivity
- Ensure during the admissions process that families are provided with accurate, timely, and compassionate communication, whether via email, instant messenger, phone, but preferably face-to-face.
- Recognize and respect cultural differences, ensuring that all families feel included and understood.
- Foster an environment that values diversity, celebrates internationalism, and demonstrates determination to serve all families well.
- Data, Reporting & Responsibility
- Maintain admissions records and databases responsibly, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and ethical use of information.
- Report on enrollment trends and conversion rates to support leadership in strategic planning.
- Collaboration & Onboarding
- Work closely with academic, operational, and support teams to ensure smooth onboarding for every new student.
- Collaborate with teachers and leaders to create a seamless transition into school life that demonstrates compassionate care and responsibility for each child’s success.
- Exceptionally, support international families with visa, residency, and relocation information, serving them with professionalism and empathy.
- Coordination and Training of Front Desk Staff
- Coordinate and supervise the involvement of all front desk staff in the student recruitment and admissions process, ensuring that their actions and communications reflect best practices of customer service.
- Provide regular training sessions to develop communication, customer care, and basic sales/conversion skills tailored to an international school environment.
- Support front desk staff in understanding how to:
- Welcome families warmly and respectfully and build a positive emotional connection from the first encounter with the child and the parents.
- Provide accurate and consistent information about the school.
- Recognize when to transfer inquiries to the admissions manager.
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and build trust with prospective parents.
- Establish clear guidelines and performance expectations, regularly monitoring and coaching front desk staff to optimize their contribution to the admissions pipeline.
- Foster a team mindset where front desk staff understand their importance in recruitment, feel empowered to represent the school, and embody the school’s mission and values in every interaction.
- Visibility, and Community Outreach
- In collaboration with the Director of Marketing and Communications create and lead student recruitment initiatives across all major social media platforms, ensuring content is creative, engaging, and aligned with the school’s values of compassion, determination, and responsibility.
- Contribute to the design and creation of marketing materials (videos, brochures, posts, newsletters) that authentically showcase the school’s strengths and student experiences.
- Maintain awareness of direct competitors, educational trends, and socio-economic changes in Phnom Penh, using this knowledge to tailor recruitment campaigns that respond to the needs and aspirations of the local and expatriate communities.
- Actively represent the school at local and international education fairs, community events, and networking opportunities, ensuring Footprints International School remains highly visible and well-respected.
- Propose, plan, and run school-based recruitment events (e.g., Open Houses, Experience Days, Parent Info Sessions) that build trust and give families first-hand exposure to the school’s learning environment and community spirit.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and events, providing recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation in recruitment strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communication, Marketing, or related field.
- Fluency in both Khmer and English Language, with excellent speaking and writing skills
- Google/Facebook Digital Certificates preferred
- Familiarity with social media management tools such as Meta Business Suite, Asana and other related apps/softwares is preferred.
- Experience in Facebook Business Suite and Ads Manager
- Facebook, TikTok, and IG management experience
- Copywriting and Analytics

Library Assistant
Location: TTP Campus
- Cataloging and Circulation
- Enter and describe new items accurately in the computer ILS (Integrated Library System)
- Accurately reshelve books
- Locate items for student or faculty use
- Physically monitor library use by students and staff
- Respond to inquiries and/or liaise with Literacy/Library Specialist to help answer questions
- Check in/out books to students
- Collection Development
- Research and make suggestions on age-appropriate materials for student and/or faculty use
- Work with vendors/suppliers to source new materials for the libraries
- Work with the procurement teams to meet the desired deliveries
- Activities and Program Development
- Help decorate and maintain the physical library space in an attractive and welcoming manner
- Help provide students with basic orientation lessons and library activities that promote research, reading, and writing programs. These might include activities such as story time, board games, scavenger hunts, book reviews, and anything else necessary for providing a variety of participation options to students at multiple age and grade levels.
- Access Services
- Liaise with students, parents and teachers to help ascertain their needs and interests
- Assist students with routine search and research questions
- Pickup and deliver items throughout the entire school campus
- Record student information in the Library ILS such as account info, requests and overdue notices
- Disseminate accurate and interesting information about authors and library collections in Khmer and English through written publications and word of mouth.
- Compose routine correspondence in both English and Khmer
- Training and Development
- Be able to follow complex instructions and step by step procedures in a reliable manner
- Be interested in library science and professional development opportunities
- Be able to perform basic research and evaluation of items and sources
- Have a willingness to take personal initiative and explore personal interests within the profession
- Develop a good general knowledge of subject categories and library workflows

- Bachelor Degree in Education, Library Studies, Communication, Language Arts or a relevant field
- High level of English proficiency
