Social Workers (2 Positions)
Position Summary Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
One social worker will work under the supervision of the Team Leader and one social worker will work under the supervision of the Social Work Coordinator. Both social workers are based in Phnom Penh with occasional travels to provinces.
- Identify children who are at risks of family separation.
- Conduct child assessment and develop service plan to meet with children’s needs.
- Provide regular follow up and monitor the children’s and families' progress toward their service plan.
- Provide counseling to children and/or their family members where necessary.
- Write children's intake, and complete case management forms.
- Maintain case files and write case note and other social work activities.
- Promotes the development of Holt’s child welfare Projects by participating in community meetings, public relations events, and training activities at the direction of the team leader and Program Manager.
- Maximizes Holt’s mission by assessing opportunities to develop extended programs.
- Other duties as assigned.
- University degree in social work or other related fields
- Experience in working with child welfare program and services
- Able to read, write and speak English and Khmer fluently
- Knowledge on case management
- Respect the differences and motivate to work with different ethnicities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Desire to travel and work in the field
- Computer literacy (MS Office, Internet and e-mail).
