Social Worker

Location: Siem Reap Province Cambodia
- Help choose families for the project with field workers, making sure they meet requirements.
- Keep an eye on families in the project and do impact assessments with the project officer.
- Extend the connections between VBC and the communities and able to see the community needs.
- Kind, good at communicating, able to understand family needs, and have good English skills is an advantage.
Project Officer
Position Summary Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
Location: Siem Reap Province Cambodia
- Arrange families with social workers for projects funded by volunteers and donors.
- Keep an eye on projects and do impact assessments with social workers.
- Make sure projects stay on track and follow-up when necessary.
- Make good communication and effective reports of the projects to the donors and volunteers
- Native speaker of Khmer with understanding of spoken English and it is desirable but not essential to have excellent written English skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Outgoing personality and confident to interact with international volunteers
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Comfortable being alone with volunteers and working alone in the countryside
- Computer skills, particularly Email, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Belief in VBC’s mission to improve living conditions for Cambodians in need and encourage families to find ways to gain independence and break the poverty cycle
- Friendly and professional attitude
- Must be flexible.
Truck Driver
Position Summary Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
Location: Siem Reap Province Cambodia
- Drive a truck to safely and efficiently transport volunteers and team members.
- Help builders or team members when dropping off volunteers at the worksite.
- Valid driver’s license with truck driving experience, follows safety rules.
- Must be able to speak and write in English as a first choice
