Site Manager
Job Purpose
Site Manager will oversee operations on day-to-day basis and ensures that work is done safely, on time and within budget and to the right quality standards and is responsible for a whole site or for part of a project and reports to the construction manager, who may be taking care of several projects at the same time.
- Project preparation and coordination
- Supervise, oversee the direction of project to ensure that the specifications and requirements are met and assess construction work progress by liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs and timeframe.
- Conduct detail work plan/working schedule at site by following master schedule to achieve the target with high quality, cost effective and time limited construction works.
- Site operational management
- Overall site supervision: highlight any issues to the Construction/Project Manager for all administrative, personnel, warehouse, and site work progress matters.
- Follow up construction progress activities at the site, ensure quality and safety and take action to rectify any non-conformance on a daily basis and submit site reports.
- Other tasks assigned by Construction Project Manager.
- Bachelor degree in civil engineering or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years experience in an established general contracting company
- Fluency in Khmer and English for both speaking and writing.
- Attention to detail, particularly in respect to contractual requirements, design/site drawings, quality of finishing works and construction standard methods.
- Capacity in problem solving, team work, coordination and communication are a plus.
