Senior Tax Consultant
Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site role for a senior tax consultant. This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Tax Consultant located in Phnom Penh. As a Senior Tax Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive tax advisory services to our clients. Drawing upon your extensive knowledge of tax regulations, legislation, and industry trends, you will contribute to the overall success of our clients by optimizing their tax strategies, ensuring compliance, and identifying opportunities for tax savings. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tax-related activities, requiring both technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills to engage with clients, colleagues, and regulatory authorities.
- Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to understand their business operations, financial structures, and goals.
- Provide expert advice on tax planning, compliance, and risk management tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
- Formulate and implement effective tax strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, and proactively adjust strategies to align with the evolving landscape.
- Oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop and maintain systems to monitor and manage tax filing deadlines and obligations for multiple clients.
- Conduct thorough research on tax issues and developments to provide timely, accurate, and well-supported recommendations.
- Analyze financial data, transactions, and business operations to identify potential tax implications and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and business development, to ensure a holistic approach to client service.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff, fostering their professional development and growth.
- Assist clients during tax audits by coordinating information requests, preparing documentation, and representing clients' interests before regulatory authorities.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends.
- Contribute to the enhancement of internal processes and tools to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, tax or equivalent experiences
- At least 3-5 years of experience in tax consulting and accounting
- Proficient in English language, both verbal and written
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under pressure
- Understanding of local business practices and customs in Cambodia
- Professional certifications (such as ACCA, CPA) are preferred
- Able to travel to provinces

Accountant
Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant who will be responsible for managing financial accounts, daily accounting bookkeeping, assisting with invoices and document preparation, and keeping track of client's payments. The role will also involve collaborating with other professionals to develop tax strategies and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records, and financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform monthly payrolls, and make NSFF payments for all staff
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare tax returns and assist with tax planning strategies.
- Prepare Annual Tax on Income to General Department of Taxation, Annual Financial Statements to Accounting and Auditing Regulators and other accounting-related tasks to relevant authorities in Cambodia
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CAT, ATQ, and ACCA is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Knowledge and experience with QuickBooks for at least 1 year
- Relevant work experience in accounting or related field for at least 1 year
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good Command of English
