Job Purpose:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, tax compliance, and audits, ensuring adherence to IFRS and local accounting standards. This role provides leadership to the accounting team, ensures accurate financial reporting, manages client relationships, and ensures full regulatory compliance in all accounting practices.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and oversee financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local standards.
- Utilize Xero or QuickBooks for client needs, including COA creation.
- Review team’s financial reports and monthly tax declarations.
- Provide guidance and training on financial preparation and tax compliance.
- Tax Compliance:
- Manage tax filings (VAT, Profit Tax, WHT) to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Liaise with tax authorities and auditors to resolve queries and facilitate audits.
- Team Management:
- Lead and mentor accounting team, fostering skill development and efficiency.
- Delegate tasks and ensure accuracy in team deliverables.
- Audits and Compliance:
- Coordinate internal and external audits, addressing findings and implementing corrective actions.
- Client Support:
- Provide financial consultancy and solutions for complex accounting issues, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the top management team.
- English - Fluent
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, local accounting standards, and tax regulations.
- Experience in financial reporting, tax filings, and audits.
- Proficient in Xero or QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and other accounting software.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Purpose:
The Finance Officer is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, tax declarations, payroll processing, and financial reporting. This role ensures the company’s compliance with all regulatory requirements, maintains financial accuracy, and provides timely financial support to management and related departments.
- Financial Operations & Accounting
- Perform monthly bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks.
- Manage and control the company’s petty cash fund.
- Review and verify all receipts from the Head Office and branches.
- Review cash collections from clients (cash on hand and bank transfers).
- Process company cash withdrawals and bank deposits.
- Review internal request forms prior to management approval.
- Process payments to suppliers and generate payment vouchers.
- Develop and maintain Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) reports.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness across all financial transactions.
- Taxation & Compliance
- Prepare and declare income tax on sales and services.
- Prepare and submit monthly tax declarations to the GDT.
- Generate and e-file monthly financial reports to the Accounting and Auditing Regulator (ACAR).
- Track and follow up on penalties for clients and the company (VCAT).
- Ensure compliance with all tax categories and statutory deadlines.
- Payroll & Statutory Contributions
- Prepare and process monthly staff payroll.
- Submit payroll to ABA Business for disbursement.
- Submit monthly contribution data to the National Social Security Fund (NSSF).
- Invoicing & Revenue Management
- Issue invoices for the Head Office and all company branches and ensuring timely collection.
- Handle and resolve client-related cash return issues when required.
- Administrative & Reporting Duties
- Support management in financial planning and decision-making.
- Ensure documentation accuracy for all financial transactions.
- Maintain orderly filing of accounting records for audits and inspections.
- Perform any other tasks or projects assigned by the CEO.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in finance, accounting, or taxation for 1 to 2 years
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Sound knowledge of Cambodian tax laws, NSSF, and GDT compliance.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong integrity, responsibility, and confidentiality in handling financial data.
