Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) is a global project funded by the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and the United States Department of State (DOS), with a period of performance from April 15, 2019, to December 30, 2027.

Announcement Positions

Senior Finance and Grants Officer (1 Position)

Position Summary

Duration: 4 months, with potential for extension based on performance and funding availability.

The Senior Finance and Grants Officer oversees financial management and compliance, ensuring alignment with donor regulations and organizational policies. Key responsibilities include financial analysis, budgeting, donor reporting, and strategic support to senior management. The role also involves managing subgrants and subcontracts, including compliance reviews, capacity building, and coordination with program, finance, and procurement teams. Additionally, the officer ensures timely reporting, audit readiness, and effective grant lifecycle management from pre-award to close-out.

 
 

Administrative Officer (1 Position)

Position Summary

Duration: 4 months, with potential for extension based on performance and funding availability.

The Administrative Officer, reporting to the Associate Director of Finance and Operations, is responsible for a wide range of administrative, operational, procurement, and logistical support functions to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the project and office. This role requires a solid understanding of organizational and departmental policies and procedures to effectively communicate and coordinate program activities and services. The officer is tasked with preparing documents and reports, managing records, organizing and maintaining filing systems, handling correspondence, and supporting internal and external communications. In addition, the officer oversees procurement processes, including sourcing, submitting, and processing purchase orders for materials, equipment, and services in compliance with organizational and donor policies. The officer will also be responsible for coordinating logistics such as inventory management, office supplies, and equipment tracking, as well as supporting travel arrangements and event logistics. The role involves collecting and verifying data, reconciling financial and operational information, and ensuring accurate documentation for audits and reporting.

 
 

Technical Officer (2 Positions)

Position Summary

Duration: 4 months, with potential for extension based on performance and funding availability.

The Technical Officer will be responsible for providing broad above-site and site-level technical assistance to national and sub-national programs and civil society implementers, including training, supportive supervision, and supporting the operationalization, in particular, prevention programs and SOPs developed by NCHADS, and serving as the link to community and facility-level service delivery activities. Provides technical support services to assigned projects under supervision. Assists with project implementation and training. Contributes to new business development initiatives, including project design, budgeting, and recruitment efforts.
