Prek Leap National Institute of Agriculture (NIA) has received a grant from Cambodia Climate Change Alliance Phase3 (CCCA3) for innovation project entitled “Innovation Facility Installation of Demonstration Ram Pump” The NIA now is looking for qualified and experienced candidates for the following positions to support the project.

Project Officer

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • The Project Officer may perform a variety of tasks, such as:
  • Design to lead the project team on a day to day basis.
  • Conduct of project activities and delivery of project outputs as defined in the project documents.
  • Monitor project activities, risks and any deviations from plan.
  • Define project scope and objectives, ensuring project team members understand what is expected of them to deliver projects on time.
  • Ensure that works undertaken in the most efficient manner.
  • Prepare, maintain and submit clear & concise the quarterly reports as required by donors.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Experience in identification, assessment and management of project risks
  • Ability to plan and organize self and work in order to achieve objectives and targets
  • Excellent communication, people and team management skills
  • Proven track record of delivering projects within defined timelines under high pressure
  • University degree preferred
  • At least 2 years of project management experience
  • Fluency in English
  • Computer literacy
 
 

Administrative and Finance Officer

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • The Administrative and Finance Officer may perform a variety of tasks, such as:
  • Manage the administrative work in relation with the project.
  • Participation to the monthly meetings and writing of the reports.
  • Participation to the organization of project activities and events.
  • Follow up and validation of the daily expenses, the accounting and the cash flow.
  • Manage accounts and perform bookkeeping.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial report of the project and send to donors as required deadline.
  • Ensure correct financial procedures are carried out with regard to donors’ guidelines.
  • Create and maintain filing system, both electronic and physical.
  • Other duties as assigned by project manager.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • University degree in Administration and Finance/accounting.
  • A previous experience of minimum 2 years as Administrative and Financial officer is required. An experience in grant management in greatly appreciated.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  • Efficient communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good computer skills (Word, Excel, internet, email).
  • Strong English level (speaking, listening and writing).
