Role Overview
Live & Learn Cambodia (LLC) seeks a dynamic and experienced the project officer will support the effective delivery of project activities by coordinating day to day operations, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring timely reporting. They will assist in planning workshops and events, facilitate communication between partners and communities, and contribute to monitoring and evaluation processes. The role requires strong organizational skills, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to advancing child right program, GEDSI, and environmental and climate action sustainability.
- Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination & Implementation: Support planning and execution of project activities, organize workshops, trainings, and community events to ensure activities are delivered on time and within budget.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate communication with partners, government agencies, and community groups and beneficiaries to promote participation child participation and GEDSI.
- Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E): Collect and analyse data to monitor project progress, maintain activity tracking and monitoring toolsto contribute to evaluation reports and lessons learned.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare documents activity project report, outcomes, success stories, and challenges to support visibility efforts (social media, presentations).
- Key Responsibilities

- Prepare documents activity project report, outcomes, success stories, and challenges to support visibility efforts (social media, presentations).
- Support the reporting to donor by involves preparing detailed reports that highlight the impact of contributions, showcase success stories, and outline future goals to maintain donor engagement and trust.
- Assist with procurement, logistics, and budgeting tasks to ensure compliance with donor requirements and organizational policies, maintain accurate records of expenditures and resource use.
- Support training sessions for staff, partners, and community members.
- Share best practices and innovative approaches to strengthen project delivery and contribute to building institutional memory and sustainability of project outcomes.
- Ensure gender equality, disability inclusion, and youth engagement are integrated into all project activities and facilitate safe spaces for dialogue and reflection, using participatory and culturally respectful methods.
- High School Diploma in or degree in social sciences (sociology, education, gender, development, etc) or environmental science, or a related field.
- Progressive and relevant experience in similar roles, ideally within development sector (NGO) for 2 years as a minimum
- Relevant experience in coordination workshops, trainings, advocacy, campaign, and participatory activities. (Required)
- Some knowledge on environment and climate change, child right programming, advocacy, and gender equality. (Required)
- Experience working with children, youth, diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and community groups. (Required)
- Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation tools and reporting requirements. (Required)
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills. (Required)
- Excellent communication and facilitation abilities, both written and verbal. (Required)
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear reports and presentations. (Required)
- Proficiency in MS Office, email, communication material development tools (Canva), and project management tools. (Required)
- Knowledge of sustainable and climate action. (Required)
- Experience with people centred design, adult learning principles and child learning approach (Required)
- Ability to clearly communicate in Khmer language (English is advantages) (Required)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills(Required)
- Strong presentation and facilitation abilities. (Required)
- Proven leadership and team management ability.
- Proven ability to lead diverse youths’ group and manage complex youth projects.
