Project Officer (1 Position)
Employment start: September 2024
- Support in the implementation of the ISA project
- Responsible for the implementation of current and new interventions
- Budget oversight and reporting on financial and administrative progress of responsible groups of interventions.
- Coordinate the organisation and implementation of various events and activities (training, workshops, meetings, etc.) related to the project.
- Build and strengthen existing and new relationships with government and private actors at local/national level.
- Support on promotion and marketing strategy of cover crops to Agricultural Cooperatives.
- Build close relations with Agricultural cooperatives and monitor their sales.
- Contribute to the elaboration of various reports (annual/semester reports and annual plan).
- Monitor activity implementation based on current interventions as per standards and procedures established by ISA under the MRM system
- Familiarize with Inclusive Markets (IM) as well as the ISA MRM system and provide support in the compliance of project activities of these guidelines.
- Travel to the field locations to support the implementation of intervention activities.
- Support on HR, Admin and Finance duties and responsibilities as required
- Support in the branding of ISA and Swisscontact Cambodia
- Provide the update of relevant events to the SC-KHM office through timely update of monthly/weekly updates
- Work with communication team by providing regular content for social media (facebook) and Swisscontact Cambodia website
- Work with communication team to develop communication materials (testimonies, articles, brochures, power-point presentations and any other materials) as required.
- Support in the research and the development of ISA products
- Support the development of ISA products as required by the project team
- Support the development manuals/guidelines that will be used by the project team
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in International Development/ Social Science/ Business Administration or relevant subject
- At least 2 years of work experience preferably in an international NGO and/or private sector
- Experience in the area of local economic development (familiarity with M4P principles, or other related experience would be considered an asset)
- Experience in working with the public and private sector, and other local stakeholders, in an inclusive development context would be preferred.
- Fluent in Khmer and with advanced English
- Ability to work independently, with high motivation for delivering programme activities to a high standard
- Good negotiation and persuasion skills and ability to generate consensus and ‘buy-in’ from local stakeholders
- Computer literacy especially on Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel
- Willingness to work as team and commitment and ambition to contribute to sustainable and inclusive economic development in Cambodia
- Willingness to learn new skills.
