Cambodian Labour Confederation (CLC) is an independent and democratic organization dedicated to promoting labour rights and ensuring decent working conditions for workers and employees across Cambodia. In partnership with the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Cambodia, CLC has established the Migrant Workers Resource Centre (MRC) in Koh Kong Province. This Centre will provide comprehensive information, counselling, and various essential services to promote safe migration for both women and men – particularly those working in the fishing and seafood processing sectors. The Centre will also deliver livelihood support, psychosocial and legal assistance, rights protection, capacity building, and other benefits for migrant workers. In addition, it will assist workers in successfully returning and reintegrating into their communities.

To support this initiative, CLC is seeking qualified, committed, and capable candidates of all genders to join our team at the Migrant Workers Resource Centre (MRC) in Koh Kong Province in the following positions:

Project Manager

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the Finance, Administration, Human Resources and Project
  • Coordinate and implement the project activities contained in the project action plan
  • Develop the specific action and budget plans for project implementation
  • Monitor, evaluate and write the reports of project to the CLC and donor
  • Respond and cooperate with donor and partners in providing the project information
  • Prepare documents and list of expenditures for clearance with CLC’s Finance Office
  • Communicate with authorities at all levels, partner institutions, national and international organizations, unions, community groups for project implementation
  • Coordinate and produce documents, materials and tools for trainings, seminars, forums, campaigns and meetings
  • Provide consultation services on Safe Migration, Labor Rights, Laws and Labour, Vocational Training to migrant workers
  • Participate in the meetings with authorities, partner institutions, national and international organizations, unions, community groups in the province
  • Build a strong team spirit, capacity building, coaching and mentoring for project team to implement the project smoothly
  • Develop a system for managing and recording the data and information for the project
  • Mission in villages, communes, districts where the target areas of ​​the project
  • Provide other necessary support services related to the project to migrant workers
  • Organizing and form the network groups in providing the education, dissemination and raise awareness about Safe migration, Labor rights, Laws, Labour and Vocational Training Services migrant workers
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • University degree in social science, management, education, English or related fields
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Experience in working with NGOs, associations and social work
  • Ability to work independently and with the team
  • Good organizing skills and interpersonal skills
  • Good at English speaking and writing
  • Able to use Computer, Microsoft Word and Excel, internet and email.
 
 

Field Officer

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Participate in developing the projects, budget and action plans, and other plans
  • Record and write the report for every specific project activity for MRC manager
  • Collect and record all data and information for the project and report to MRC manager
  • Prepare relevant documents and invoices for manager for clearance
  • Participate in monitoring, evaluating and reporting project activities to CLC & donor
  • Participate in communication and cooperation with authorities at all levels, partner institutions, national and international organizations, unions, community groups
  • Participate in coordinating and producing documents, materials and tools for trainings, seminars, forums, campaigns and meetings
  • Participate in providing counseling services on safe migration, labor rights, laws, labour, vocational training services to migrant workers
  • Participate in meetings with authorities, partner institutions, national and international organizations, unions, community groups in the province.
  • Participate in missions in villages, communes, districts where the target areas of ​​the project
  • Participate in providing other necessary support services related to the project to workers and people in the province.
  • Participate in organizing and form the network groups in providing the education, dissemination and raise awareness about Safe migration, Labor rights, Laws, Labour and Vocational Training Services to migrant workers.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • University degree in social science, management, education, English or related fields.
  • Have at least 2-year experiences with NGO is advance
  • Ability to work independently and with the team
