RAW Impact began in Cambodia in 2013 as a grassroots organization, dedicated to providing a hand up to families living in poverty. Since then, we’ve built a school, supported local community development projects, and have undertaken an ambitious goal to build a thriving bamboo village to provide a safe community for so many families.

Project Manager (1 Position)

Position Summary

As Project Manager, you’ll working closely with our program manager and local build, you will ensure seamless planning and execution of our project. You will coordinate local build, while ensuring high standards of quality and safety.  You will also have an opportunity work with foreigners.

Your keen attention to detail and passion for people will turn every itinerary into an unforgettable journey, creating cross-cultural connections, and leaving families in our EPM village project with renewed hope. 

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local builder, families and community leader.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of build to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Facilitate capacity-building activities to enhance the skills and knowledge of staff and volunteer involved in the project.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on program progress, challenges, and successes to the Program Manager.
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and in compliance with organizational standards and requirements.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Commitment to Raw Impact's vision, mission, value and policies.
  • Speaks English.
  • Experience with medium to large development projects for NGO's/ UN or other large organizations.
  • Work with a local build team on innovative projects.
  • Interact with western volunteer teams.
  • Be involved in planning, budgeting and reporting on building projects.
  • Have knowledge of construction techniques with a wide variety of building materials.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment and adapt to local customs and needs.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
