Announcement Description

Youth House for Cambodia-China Friendship (YHCCF) was officially formed since 11 January 2023, as a non-profit organization for strengthening and expending the relationship of the people to people of the two counties (Cambodia and China). Becoming a platform for exchanging between Cambodian and Chinese youth is aimed at contributing to the strengthening and expansion of people-to-people contacts, especially youth, between the two countries.

Project Management Officer

Position Circumstances

Position Summary
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Support outreach to participants, partners, and other project stakeholders
  • Assist in compiling lists and maintaining a database of information
  • Assist in preparing slide decks and updates,
  • Support drafting and formatting of communications material as needed
  • Assist in maintaining the project’s calendar
  • Identify potential partners and collaborate joint initiatives to enhance project impact
  • Support in grant proposal through research and/or writing
  • Assist the events & project management manager with overall organization & logistical planning of all YHCCF event (Carnival, Cambodia-China Business Foresight…)
  • Assist in developing partnerships & relations with various stakeholders (venue & other, suppliers, partners, sponsors & event attendees)
  • Assist in managing the project’s budgets to ensure consistency with the approved budgets
  • Support procurement and contracting documentation
  • Provide administrative and operational support
  • Other tasks may be required by Project management manager.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • Khmer
  • English
  • Chinese - Simplified is preferred
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Senior university student or recent graduate in development studies, business, communications, related fields
  • Good organizational and communication skill
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power point); familiarity with Canva or other design tools is a plus
Soft Skills
  • To work independently and as a part of a team
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Retain confidential information
  • Eager to learn and understand the process

General Affairs Officer

Position Circumstances

Position Summary
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Support
  • Manage schedules, appointments, and meetings for department heads or executives.
  • Handle correspondence, emails, and phone calls.
  • Prepare reports, documents, and presentations as needed.
  • Handle with general administrative duties: data entry, printing, stamping, scanning, filing, etc.
  • Keep a clear and consistent record of all General Affairs-related matters at YHCCF.
  • Office Management
  • Ensure that office supplies, equipment, and resources are stocked and available.
  • Oversee maintenance of the office premises.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers for office-related needs.
  • Internal Communication
  • Serve as a communication link between the General Affairs Department and other departments within the organization.
  • Ensure that important information is relayed to relevant stakeholders.
  • HR Support
  • Assist in employee onboarding processes, such as preparing orientation materials or setting up workstations.
  • Maintain employee records and support general HR activities as required.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by YHCCF.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Administration, Business Administration, International Relations, Management, or related field
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Proficient in Khmer and English (spoken and written); Chinese is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email systems, and basic office software
  • Filing, scheduling, documentation, office management

General Affairs Interns

Position Circumstances

Position Summary
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist with general administrative duties: data entry, printing, stamping, scanning, filing, etc.
  • Support the preparation of documents, including letters, reports, meeting minutes, and internal forms.
  • Help coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and team activities (venue setup, refreshments, equipment, etc.).
  • Maintain internal records and monitor office supplies.
  • Provide assistance during YHCCF programs and events (registration, ushering, logistics, etc.).
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders as required.
  • Support office organization and cleanliness when necessary.
  • Assist in coordinating schedules and follow-up communications with partners and members.
  • Report daily tasks and updates.
  • Share relevant information and progress on ongoing activities.
  • Keep a clear and consistent record of all General Affairs-related matters at YHCCF.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by YHCCF.
