- The Helping Table – a dignified meal and hygiene service for people in need (not a shelter, not religious, not political
- Clean & Green Cambodia : a long-term environmental and waste‑management initiative starting in Arey Khsat and surrounding areas.
This is a hands‑on leadership role, working directly with the founder/director of Little Hearts Organisation (website ) to design, develop, and implement these projects. It is not a 9‑to‑5 office job for someone whose first priority is salary; it is for a person whose first priority is meaningful action and long‑term impact.
- Lead project development from idea to implementation (planning, structure, timelines, budgets).
- Build and maintain partnerships with:
- Local authorities and government offices (commune, district, province, relevant ministries).
- Companies and CSR departments (for funding and in‑kind support).
- Local NGOs, schools, pagodas, and community leaders.
- Represent the projects in meetings, presentations, and events; be a confident, natural communicator.
- Drive fundraising efforts (CSR, donors, campaigns, events).
- Coordinate a small core team (including several motivated young adults from Little Hearts) and lead by example.
- Oversee key documents and procedures: MOUs, licenses, permits, basic reporting to partners and authorities.
- Ensure the projects stay practical, transparent, and focused on real impact, not just “nice stories”.

- At least 5–7 years of relevant experience, for example in: CSR / corporate communications / marketing / public affairs NGO work / social enterprise / community projects Government / donor relations
- Proven experience working with local authorities or government offices (not afraid to have serious, respectful conversations and negotiate).
- Strong skills in communication and persuasion – can explain ideas clearly and naturally (not fake, not “salesy”), in both Khmer and English.
- Real commitment to social impact:
- Deep concern for the environment, cleanliness, and public health.
- Genuine care for people living in poverty and a desire to improve their situation with dignity.
- Confident using basic office tools: email, Word, Excel, presentations, online communication.
- Experience with MOUs, licenses, permits or similar formal documents.
- Able to lead a team, delegate tasks, and keep people accountable while staying kind and respectful.
- Willing to work on a long‑term vision, not just a short project.
- Fluent in Khmer and English (spoken and written)
- Strong but humble personality; not easily intimidated.
- Natural leader: leads through action, not only words.
- Comfortable spending time both in meetings (offices, boardrooms) and on the ground (streets, communities).
- Honest, reliable, and not afraid to speak clearly when something is wrong.
- Able to handle pressure and complexity without losing compassion.
- Passionate about their work and willing to “go all the way” for a meaningful result, not just follow minimum rules.
