Project Coordinator
Duration: 2 years contract with expected extension
Reports to:
The Building and Wood Workers Trade Union Federation of Cambodia (BWTUC)’s manager and cross-function donors.
- Project Management
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual work plans according to each activity and budget
- Prepare monthly financial report
- Support staff and outreach workers to understand the workplan
- Monitoring the activities
- Work with partner organization to facilitate the donor planning and reporting
- Liaison, external relation, and representation
- Assist manager to establish and maintain positive organizational relationships, government and community-based partners.
- Assist manager to liaise with government, donors, partners vendors, consultants, international visitors, and volunteers
- General Office Management
- Maintain financial administration and management systems.
- Assisting project activities, in particular logistics and communications.
- Liaise vendors, suppliers, government department and partners needed to support project activities.
- Additional duties
- Working with small team, the position will also be required to assist, from time-to-time with a range of organizational and operational activities as reasonably requested by the manager.
- Bachelor's Degree in management, law, international relations, social sciences or related field.
- At least two working in busy, complex community development projects, preferably in a similar within a community-based organization, not-for-profit organization, or trade union organization.
- Demonstrated ability to understand coordinate a busy project.
- Experience in, or willingness to learn, bookkeeping and accounting.
- Proficient in both Khmer English written and verbal communication.
