Project Administration Intern
Scope of Work
The intern will be under guidance of Human Resource and Administrative Officer, gaining administration and reception roles experience for the project. S/he will learn administrative and logistic work for the project operations and activities. The intern is based in Phnom Penh.
Learning Objectives:
- Learn and contribute to all project administrative tasks.
- Gain experience in administration work for USAID project.

Internship duration
This in-person academic credit stipend internship will take place from available starting date through March 2024. The internship requires full time, 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday
Stipend
All materials that will be needed by the intern in the performance of the above-mentioned work shall be provided by the IECD Project. The student Intern shall receive stipend 180 USD per month. The student intern will be paid in monthly upon submission of timesheet endorsed by supervisor and the monthly paid amount is based on number of completing work days .
- Assist with front desk and administrative support services for guests who visit IECD’s office.
- Support logistical work for all trainings/workshops/project events in Phnom Penh
- Support preparation of logistics materials for all trainings/workshops/project events in the field
- Participate in managing and coordinating out-going and incoming mail
- Contribute to meeting room schedule and preparation
- Learn and contribute to maintain office supplies and material inventory
- Learn and contribute to filing at Phnom Penh office
- Must be a local resident of Cambodia
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business Administration, or a related field
- Must be eligible to receive academic course credit or fulfill an academic program requirement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of administrative role
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective teamwork and communication skills
- Proficient inEnglish and Khmer verbally and in writing
