Programme Coordinator – Cambodia (Basic Education Computer Learning Center)
Starting date of position – as soon as possible

Do you have a passion for IT and are you excited about helping young people access technology and gain essential digital skills? Then you are the right person, and we need your support with the management of our Computer Learning Center programme in Cambodia.

- Assessment & Planning
- Assess school facilities and equipment: Check current computer labs, available space, and technical setup to identify gaps or needed upgrades.
- Engage with school staff and the community: Talk with teachers, school leaders, and local partners to understand their needs and how they can support the project, then prepare practical recommendations.
- Plan and coordinate lab setup and procurement of equipment.
- Implementation & Quality Control
- Oversee installation of equipment and ensure the lab meets quality and security standards.
- Develop and implement programme procedures, training curricula, and handouts.
- Training & Capacity Building
- Provide training and ongoing support for teachers and lab committees, including integrating technology into lessons, basic troubleshooting, software use, and supervising students.
- Monitoring & Evaluation
- Monitor and evaluate lab usage and performance by collecting regular feedback from teachers and students, and contribute to long-term sustainability planning.
- Write programme monitoring reports in English.
- Maintain programme documentation and data records.
- General Programme Support
- Other administrative tasks concerning the programme as assigned by the line manager.
- Education and work experience
- A strong interest in working for an NGO and to contribute to our vision and mission
- A graduate diploma, bachelor’s degree or equivalent education (a degree in ICT or a related field is an advantage)
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in IT roles involving hardware, software, or user support, or as a project manager in an NGO.

- Hard skills
- Technical knowledge or affinity: Understanding of computer hardware, software, and basic networking—or a strong willingness and ability to learn these skills quickly.
- Knowledge of project cycle management and budgeting of programme or a strong willingness and ability to learn these skills quickly.
- Strong facilitation and training skills to conduct various workshops and capacity-building sessions
- Experience in managing computer lab projects is an advantage
- Ability to collect, analyse, and present good-quality data and information
- Solid IT skills (MS Word, Excel, Power point, E‐mail)
- Travel requirements
- Ability to travel frequently – conduct field visits in Cambodia (up to 40% of working time)
- Language skills
- Proficiency in Khmer is required
- Good command of written and verbal English language
