National Federation of UNESCO Associations in Japan (NFUAJ) is non-governmental organization (NGO) established in 1947 in Japan and launched its office in Cambodia based in Siem Reap province aiming to provide learning opportunities for the disadvantaged and vulnerable people through Angkor Community Learning Center (ACLC) Project.

NFUAJ is recruiting a qualified and experienced candidate to fill a position of Program Officer based in Siem Reap province.

Position Summary

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7 hours a day.

Benefits:

  • The annual salary starts from USD 6,000.00.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Assist in facilitating and coordinating the implementation of the project.
  • Monitor and follow-up the progress of projects at lifelong learning centers ( LLCs)and satellites LLCs.
  • Prepare regular work plan and report of project progress.
  • To support effective and efficient implementation of the Project for Promotion of Lifelong Education and Life Skill Training.
  • To interpret from Khmer into English and vice versa,
  • Assist in Capacity development of LLC management committee and related focal persons,
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Cambodian Nationals
  • Bachelor’s degrees in related field
  • Experienced in the field of Education or rural development for at least 3 years.
  • Good communication of English (Both Writing and Speaking)
  • Good computer skills (Ms. Word, Ms. Excel, power-point, Photoshop illustration and Adobe Premier)
  • Willing to work flexible hours and travel in the field.
  • Hard-Working, friendly, honesty, flexible, and open.
