Program Director
The position: KKO is looking for a Program Director for the “KKO Programs in Cambodia” based in Phnom Penh with some travelling to the project site in urban Phnom Penh and provinces.
Overall responsibilities: The Program director is in charge of piloting the development KKO overall program and strengthening organization capacities. He/she will ensure that all resources available within KKO are destined to KKO mission, and make all possible efforts to find new tools adapted to reinforce our strategy.
Range net salary from 900 USD to 1100 USD dollars depending on candidate qualifications and experiences plus other benefit based on KKO’s policy.
- Coordinates and prepares the design of new projects and proposals in close collaboration with project managers and with the support of ED and advisor
- Participate in fundraising operations and write proposals involving project managers, ED and KKO board
- Responsible of the overall M&E system implementation; reports field activities to the executive team meeting and consolidate technical quarterly reports
- Inputs and reviews program financing for each project together with Finance/Administrative manager and project managers
- Consolidates activity planning and leads a monthly planning meeting with concerned managers Coordinate and liaise with relevant stakeholders/partners
- Together with KKO ED, and Finance/Administrator manager support the organization governance policy development.
- Manages directly project managers; in particular reviews and approves activity plans, budget submissions, expenditures
- Checks and approve all cash advances, disbursements and schedules for project managers
- In collaboration KKO management team select and recruit new staff and support with other HR tasks Perform other tasks as requested by the Executive Director, and KKO Advisor
- Honest, high commitment,
- Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in Education, business management, or related field;
- Minimum five years of working experience in management;
- Experience in project management, project proposal writing and reporting Experienced in developing capacity-building programs
- Experienced in conducting project monitoring and evaluation
- Ability to work under pressure, both independently as well as part of the team;
- Ability to develop training manuals/ relevant tools for project needs and Admin/Finance regulation Good knowledge of written and spoken English;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Be able to travel to and stay overnight in the provinces.
