Job Summary
The Program Assistant Manager supports the planning and implementation of projects in collaboration with the PMC project team. Key responsibilities include organizing on-site activities such as market research, vendor visits, interpretation, and field support for Volunteer On-site Project (VOP) activities. The role also involves monitoring and evaluating project progress, assisting with baseline, midline, and endline surveys, and managing data collection, review, and analysis. Support for translation between English-Khmer or Korean-Khmer (for those who are proficient in Korean) is required as needed.
Additional responsibilities include managing volunteer attendance and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. The Program Assistant Manager is also tasked with preparing and submitting weekly work reports, meeting minutes, and other project-related documentation. We seek a detail-oriented, reliable professional dedicated to the effective execution of project objectives.
- Participation in Project Planning: Collaborate with the project implementation team to develop an on-site implementation plan based on the project plan created by the project implementation team.
- Field and Volunteer Activity Support
- Assist with market research and accompany volunteers during field activities (Volunteer On-site Project, VOP), including visiting vendors and supporting communication.
- Join and assist volunteers during field activities at NPH, monitor progress, provide on-site support, and assist with interpretation.
- Monitor and evaluate volunteer activities (Volunteer On-site Project, VOP) and prepare and submit evaluation reports.
- Project Operations Support
- Assist with the planning and coordination of baseline, midline, and endline surveys.
- Review survey questionnaires to ensure accuracy and completeness (check if responses are correct within scope, translate and comment on local language responses, etc.) and support data collection.
- Collect and manage project performance data and statistics.
- Assist with translating project outputs, such as educational materials, promotional content, and other related documents, into Khmer.
- Volunteer Management Support
- Help manage volunteer attendance (check-in/check-out times and maintain relevant documentation and statistics).
- Support volunteer safety management (maintain safety communication channels and monitor safety status).
- Documentation
- Prepare and submit weekly work reports.
- Write and submit meeting minutes as needed.
- Prepare and submit field monitoring evaluation reports related to volunteer activities.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Minimum of 5 years of full-time work experience in a similar position after graduation (part-time experience not included; experience in program planning, implementation, and monitoring or related departments is preferred)
- Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Khmer, Korean language an advantage.
- Computer skills: MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point, Internet and Email.
- Very good networking skills to facilitate collaboration to achieve objectives.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.

The Program Officer will support the successful implementation of the project by assisting with planning, coordination, and administrative tasks. This role includes working with the project team to develop localized implementation plans, managing schedules, and documenting meetings. The Program Officer will also help organize volunteer field activities(Volunteer On-site Project, VOP) by collecting local information, coordinating with vendors, and occasionally providing on-site assistance and interpretation.
Additionally, the role involves managing project documentation, maintaining digital and physical records, assisting with budget processes, and supporting the organization of external meetings and training sessions. The Program Officer will also assist volunteers with settling-in tasks, such as housing arrangements and telecommunication services. Regular reporting through weekly work logs and meeting minutes is required.
This position demands strong organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

- Manage project-related documents and materials, both in digital files and physical copies.
- Support the preparation and facilitation of external meetings, such as PSC/PCC and expert meetings.
- Assist with the preparation and implementation of local capacity-building training sessions.
- Assist with translating project outputs, such as educational materials, promotional content, and other related documents, into Khmer.
- Volunteer Management Support
- Assist with housing arrangements for volunteers.
- Support telecommunications services for volunteers, such as purchasing SIM cards and activating services.
- Address other inquiries related to volunteer settlement and daily living needs.
- Documentation
- Prepare and submit weekly work reports.
- Draft and submit meeting minutes for various meetings.
