Position Summary

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Report to: Teacher and Head of Primary

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and interactive French lessons tailored to primary school students.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum aligned with national standards for French language learning.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love of the French language and culture.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a holistic learning experience for students.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities.
  • Other appropriate duties as allocated by members of the SLT
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent primary teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching French at the primary level.
  • Fluency in French (written and spoken).
  • Strong understanding of French culture.
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success
