Payment Services Manager
The Payment Services Manager will oversee the provision of financial services to CIS families. They will provide excellent customer service, line manage the Payment Services Team, advise the Head of School on related matters, maintain data integrity, and ensure compliance with internal school procedures.
- Establish clear workflows for cash management, payment validation, follow-up regarding regular payments and bank reconciliation to increase administrative efficiency
- Collaborate with the Finance Team to explore options for further automation of payment services and parent self-service
- Implement and supervise transactional procedures and systems (receipt, invoice, credit note, payment notice, account receivable and bank statement)
- Be responsible for the payment services email account and respond to all questions in a timely way
- Handle all cash transactions, including for school fees, ECAs, lunch program fees, uniform sales, school bus and buggy payments, properly
- Follow up the accounts receivable for CIS families
- Control petty cash and manage daily cash control to ensure the accuracy of cash balance and to avoid cash discrepancies
- Submit the daily cash collection report, and monthly reports, to the Finance Team with comments
- Control sales inventory and submit a monthly report to the Finance Team
- Control fixed assets and joint fixed assets with a timely report
- Communicate with families in person and by phone in English and Khmer
- Develop standardized templates for email communication with families
- Line manage the Payment Services Team, providing support, coaching and decisions as needed
- Work with cashiers to identify appropriate professional development opportunities
- Liaise with the Finance Team and Human Resources Team regarding tuition scholarships for staff
- Assist the Head of School in all matters relating to payments
- Any other tasks assigned by the line manager
- Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business management or business administration preferred
- At least 5 years experience in payment services preferred
- Experience managing a team
- Knowledge, Competencies and Attributes
- Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Khmer
- Excellent time management skills and able to meet strict deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills, highly collaborative and able to work well with colleagues from diverse backgrounds
