OSCaR React Native Mobile App/Ruby on Rails Developer

Position Summary

Reporting to: OSCaR Program Manager

CIF is the agency responsible for the OSCaR system under FCF TSG 3. This action is ongoing action which has been carried since 2015, and CIF requires one React Native/Ruby Developer to continue develop OSCaR Web/Mobile Application. More information about OSCaR may be found at oscarhq.com.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Ensure the OSCaR mobile/web application is functioning and up to date
  • Write clean code to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality code to the standard expected within the team
  • Write automated tests and collaborate with Quality Assurance developers (QA)
  • Give accurate or rough estimations and point out dependencies between issues
  • Provide regularly update task status progress in Trello
  • Collaborate effectively with the project and team leaders to define problems and propose good solutions
  • Contribute manuals and/or technical documentation (README) of implementation and configuration
  • Resolve the issues reported by the team in a timely manner
  • Commit to additional tasks assigned by the program manager
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Holds at least a Bachelor's degree majoring in Computer Science, IT or with relevant skills can be potential
  • At least 2 years of React Native experience for both Android and iOS or Ruby on Rails
  • Some experience with third-party libraries like Redux, React Navigation, etc., and APls
  • Proficiency in Frontend technologies such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, ReactJS
  • Basic understanding of QA processes and tools for Unit, Functional, Integration, System and Performance testing
  • Some experience with GitLab, Git or other version control tools
  • Knowledge of (cloud) databases - Postgres, MongoDB and Redis is a plus
  • Be able to communicate in Khmer and English
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to work under pressure, adaptability & flexibility with high commitment
