SCHEDULE: Full-time, (Tuesday to Saturday, afternoon to evening shifts)

As an integral part of the training program, the school operates an 8-bedroom training hotel, a 60-seat training restaurant and a training Spa center.
From September 2026, Sala Baï will launch a second-year graduate program, aiming to strengthen professional skills and increase the school’s self-financing capacity. This program will start with the F&B and Cooking departments with the goal of expanding to others.
As part of this development, Sala Baï is recruiting an Operation Manager to lead and strengthen its hospitality operations, with a strong focus on the launch and success of evening restaurant service.
The operation manager will report directly to the school director.
This position might evolve to the deputy director status in the future.

- Operational Management
- Manage and oversee daily operations of the training restaurant, hotel, and spa (with priority on restaurant operations).
- Lead the development and structuring of evening restaurant offer.
- Ensure high standards of guest experience, service quality, and operational efficiency.
- Supervise and coordinate evening operations as the main responsible manager on site.
- Optimize operational processes, including purchasing, stock management, and supplier coordination.
- Report daily operational activities and financial results to the School Director.
- Commercial & Revenue Management
- Contribute to defining and implementing the commercial strategy (offers, pricing, etc.).
- Monitor and improve revenue performance and cost control.
- Ensure operations contribute to the financial sustainability of the school.
- Propose improvements to increase profitability while respecting the training mission.
- Manage, jointly with the Communication Department, relationships with individual guests, travel agencies and other partners
- Track key indicators such as guest satisfaction, revenue and cost control
- Academic & Training Contribution
- Work closely with the Training Department to integrate operational activities into student learning.
- Ensure students are implementing Sala Baï’s existing SOPs and experience real working conditions.
- Support training through practice, by sharing knowledge with students during operations.
- Schedule: from Tuesday to Saturday – afternoon to evening shift
- Flexibility to travel in other provinces and work extra hours on specific occasions

- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role
- Experience in training or mentoring is a strong advantage
- Fluent Khmer written and spoken
- Good written and spoken English level is essential
- Strong communication, organizational, and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage costs and improve efficiency
- Experience using POS software and/or PMS system
- Experience with budget management
