Non-Timber Forest Products, NTFP, is a local Non-Government Organization based in Ratanakiri Province, Northeastern Cambodia. Since we were established in 1996 we have played a crucial role in helping indigenous people secure their rights to land and natural resources. We also recognise the vital importance of preserving the cultural heritage of indigenous people, often inextricably linked with their lands and forests.

NTFP was registered with the Ministry of Interior of the Royal Government Cambodia in May 2007. NTFP is conducting operation within 3 provinces, Ratanakiri, Preah Vihear and Stung Treng. Our main based office is in Ratanakiri province.

NTFP received the Certificate of Compliance on Governance Professional & Practices (GPP), first time in 2009, and 2nd time in Dec 2017 and 3rd time with 3 Awards on 24th Dec 2021 for 5 years until 2026.

Effective engagement with indigenous communities, developed over a considerable time, is now a particular strength of NTFP. We target rural indigenous ethnic minority and marginalized villages to support them on the natural resource management, tenure rights, and to promote their participation in conservation of nature and biodiversity..

The audit firm will engage throughout one year operation (FY2025) with the possibility of engagement of additional audit cycles subject to satisfactory performance.

Objective of the Audit:

  1. The objective of the audit of NTFP’s financial statements is to enable the auditors to express an independent professional opinion on the financial position of NTFP and to ensure that the funds utilized to NTFP’s activities have been used for their intended purposes.
  2. The books of accounts of NTFP provide the basis for preparation of the NTFP’s Financial Statements. Proper books of accounts as required by law have been maintained by NTFP and also maintain adequate internal controls and supporting documentation for the transactions.

Audit duration:

The audit work shall be completed within one month very sharply from 12th January 2026 to 12th February 2026.

Deliverables:

  1. The Auditors on completion of the audit work will submit 5 (five) original copies of the Audit Report appended to the Financial Statements along with the reports to the attention of the Executive Director.
  2. Management letter in accordance with the scope of work described here before.

Qualification of the Audit Firm:

The audit firms based in Cambodia having affiliation/membership with an internationally reputed audit firms will be eligible to apply.

Audit Fees:

The audit fees will be fixed through a competitive bidding process.
