National IT Manager

Based at: Newrest Cambodia
Job Purpose
To lead and manage the IT function and achieve Newrest’s goals in Cambodia. Working directly with the country general manager and chief finance officer. Actively collaborating with the Newrest Group IT team. Focusing on ensuring a high-level of technical expertise and support to Newrest employees located in Cambodia and its subsidiaries around the world, of which you will be part, whether they are user experience, collaborative or security project.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Software and hardware management
- Implementation of Navision across Newrest Cambodia Catering
- Implementation of Winrest across Newrest Catering
- Rollout of Office 365, antivirus and collaboration software (e.g. OneDrive, Teams, Sharepoint, Skype for Business)
- Develop IT security plan for Newrest Cambodia including backups and security protocols
- Manage and maintain the infrastructure of the general system and networks (workstation and server using Windows and Hyper-V)
- Manage incidents of Windows / MacOs computer equipment (analysis and understanding of the origin of the malfunction, resolution)
- End-user training and support:
- Diagnostic and resolution of problemsResolution process definition
- User documentation conception
- Staff training programs
- Financial Software support:
- INFODAF: Installation, monitoring, assistance
- SAGE: Installation, monitoring, assistance
- Assist in the use of financial software such as Cegid XRP (Former Qualiac)
- Network & Servers’ Supervision:
- Computer installation and maintenance security protocols for workstations and the network
- Manage the infrastructure related to the computer park (telephony, printers, PC components, etc.)
- File server maintenance/ Development of internal IT tools/ Group domain integration o Implement and Install tools & systems, using specific defined procedure
- Test, collect and analyse the informatics solutions of the group o Choose local equipment and software - Negotiate local suppliers
- Ensure the consistency and development of local information systems
- Participate in the development of the yearly budget, manage the financial, technical and human resources.
- Anticipate the charges and costs of the solutions studied
- Participate in the smooth running of each business IT project in the country, from the design phase to deployment and transfer of responsibility to business teams
- Coordinate the various actions between the local project teams and the head office support teams

- Skills and Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related subject
- Excellent communication skills in both Khmer and English
- Understanding of local supply of hardware and software
- IT system administration experience
- Windows based server experience
- Good team work skills
- Good understanding of network related topics (protocols, routers, LAN, WAN, WIFI)
- Good understanding of IT security (firewalls, user rights, access control)

- Analytical, flexible and able and willing to work extra hours and weekends, public holidays and evenings when required to meet seasonal, event and visitor demands.
- Physical/Health Requirements
- Must be able to access all sites, including remote sites in Cambodia.
- Essential Requirements
- Must be representative of the company at all times. Complete all relevant paperwork within specified deadlines and timeframes. Ensure all IT security and safety standards set by Newrest Group are always adhered to at Newrest Cambodia. Complete any other duties as requested by management.
