Scope of Work
The selected consultant shall conduct the following tasks:
- Revisit the existing training curriculum of motivational counseling for both English and Khmer based on finding and collect further inputs from CBO to develop training curriculum in Khmer and English.
- Development of an assessment tool reviewed/approved by EpiC before conducting the assessment.
- Conduct training assessment to determine the capacity skills of OW/ field staff/ online counselors for master trainers and summary the assessment finding report
- Conduct training to selected participants as master training of trainer approximately 28 people from NCHADS, and CBO- MSM. TG, EWs, and PWID),
- Prepare training sessions and slides for motivational counseling, facilitation skills, session plan development, training materials development, training evaluation, and training report writing etc,
- The consultant or personal services contractor (PSC) will write a report of the training and submit it to EpiC-FHI 360.
Location of Work
The consultant will be worked with NCHADS, CBO, CRS and EpiC team in Phnom Penh and travel to selected provinces under the EpiC coverages.
Travel
Consultant may be required to travel in Phnom Penh or provinces as required by the project. Per diem and accommodation will be provided by FHI 360 for trip to provinces.
- Education and Experiences: The consultant should have the knowledge and skills and extensive experience to implement the scope of work. Required criteria:
- Master’s degree in public health, psychology or in HIV/AIDS related field
- At least 5 years’ experience with counselling, training skill and provision of consultancy service experiences in HIV prevention among key populations including psychosocial support and other health related.
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, and providing technical assistance to improve health programs, counselling, or mental health in Cambodia.
- Experience in curriculum development and organized training of trainer
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including regional, national program, local organization, and private-sector partners.
- Experience working with international and local organizations seeking to improve outcomes for HIV prevention an advantage.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English required
