MEP Technician
Position Summary Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTION
To work with the Head, Campus Operations Singapore (Cambodia) International Academy Co., Ltd. The MEP technician is reporting to Head of Department and is responsible for:
- MEP (50%)
- Perform maintenance and repair work on mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems.
- Support Maintain and operate on electrical, plumbing system, and associated equipment.
- Respond to emergencies related to campus operations.
- Perform daily checks of MEP appliances and update defects list.
- Regularly check all types of equipment for proper and efficient operation
- Support with MEP, Civil maintenance contractors and ensure proper communication is established on how works should be carried out and requirements to carry out such works on premises are clear for both parties.
- To assist in Campus Events and activities
- Performing other functions as necessary or assigned by HoD
- Driver (50%)
- Recording vehicle logbook on daily basis to keep accurate consumption cost
- Arranging regular cleaning and preventive maintenance services for the vehicle, planning each route based on prudent consumption of fuel
- Ensure safe keeping of vehicle accessories such as tools, first aid kit etc
- Providing safe driving for SCIA Management staff and guests during official duties
- Deliver letters or mail or any official parcels to outside company and local ministries as and when needed.
- Support all logistics arrangements and set up for official SCIA functions and events, whether it is held in SCIA outside school
- Driving students for: CCA, service learning, seminar & any other school trips required by SCIA as and when required
- Keeping record of all vehicle expenses for audit purpose.
- To do any official work based on work instructions given by my Supervisor, as and when required by SCIA from time to time .
- Academic Education /Training/ Experience
- General understanding in mechanical, electrical and plumbing fields
- Working knowledge in construction procedure and practices
- Relevant trade certification is a plus
- 2-3 years’ Experience and good driving skills with recognized driving license type C or D
- Be able to use google Map
- Be able to communicate in English
