The National Center for HIV/AIDS, Dermatology and STI (NCHADS) in the Ministry of Health is looking for a highly competent of following positions:

Working in Phnom Penh office. This program financed via The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM). Under the direct supervision of the director of NCHADS-SI, Medical Doctor for Adult Pre-ART/ART Clinician and Data Entry Clerk are responsible for day-to-day oversight by NCHADS Clinic and DMU Unit of NCHADS-SI under GFATM-HIV/AIDS /KHM-C-MEF-H grant in Cambodia.

Medical Doctor for Adult Pre-ART/ART Clinician (1 Position)

Position Summary

Work location: NCHADS

Job summary:

To provide clinical management support to ART Clinic to ensure quality of care and treatment service for STI, Diabetes, Hypertension and other relevant opportunity disease.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Specific Responsibilities
  • Work as clinicians for HIV/AIDS care and treatment in NCHADS-ART clinic.
  • Play role as Clinician for STI, Diabetes, Hypertension and other relevant opportunity disease.
  • To follow with AIDS Care Unit guidance and instruction with national ART management guideline for reports/implementation result.
  • Involve with Prevention Care and Treatment Technical working group (TWG) for reports/ action/recommendation.
  • Involve with Care and treatment training (Initial training, refresher training, Network meeting) for facilitate and reports to National care and treatment technical working group.
  • Play role as facilitator for prepare the national care and treatment technical working group.
  • Involve with national core mentor for provide clinical mentoring at ART services in Cambodia.
  • To collect, manage and store all client/patient and routine service provision data from STI, VCCT, TB/HIV, PMTCT, CBO and OI/ART in health facility and community base care service in appropriate database.
  • To collaborate with concerned units at NCHADS to review, design and update data collection tools and recording format, utilizing new information technology and network systems.
  • To work closely with health facilities and other partners to ensure regular collection and submission of patient data required for the data management system.
  • To collaborate with NCHADS’ surveillance and research units in analyzing this data.
  • To present the result of treatment data in appropriate reports and formats on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for use by all involved partners.
  • To prepare reports from facility databased and other relevant materials for ART/PNTT/EAC/PrEP/ PDCA Quarterly Coordination Meetings.
  • To present PrEP uptake and HIV testing coverage at ART services data to NCHADS ART clinic and procurement to support quantification and forecasting of requirements for HIV test kits/ARV Drug and consumables.
  • To track referral and care of HIV+ mothers and exposed infants amongst relevant services at the satellites, and Hub by maintaining the HIV+ Mother and Exposed Infant Follow-up Sheet or Follow-up Sheet.
  • To support prevention of loss to follow-up of HIV+ mothers and exposed infants by reviewing the Follow-up Sheet and alerting national CMA coordinator, CAA team and relevant site level health staff, B-IACM and partner NGO to missed care and treatment and potential loss.
  • General Responsibilities:
  • To work with due diligence in carrying out the tasks of the position.
  • To pursue regular, punctual and full-time attendance to duties during official working hours.
  • To strive all times to assist the NCHADS attain the highest levels of accuracy and honesty in all its activities.
  • To draw the attention of the Care and Treatment TWG immediately to any irregularity or other matter of significance affecting the efficient and honest functioning of the unit.
  • To undertake any other duties assigned by the Aids Care Unit Manager, NCHADS Clinic Director, and NCHADS management.
  • To work closely with the existing clinician’s officer in NCHADS ART service to ensure consistency in reporting.
 
 

Data Entry Clerk (Replacement) (1 Position)

Position Summary

Work location: National Clinic ART 3

Job summary:

To assist with the entry of data at VCCT/ART services.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Specific Responsibilities
  • To work as a team closely with the ART team
  • To maintain the NCHADS VCCT, ART, PNTT, PrEP, PEP, EID, TB/HIV, PMTCT data collection instruments and other instruments related to tracking and improve quality of care
  • To enter, maintain and clean data in the data management databases and MPI.
  • To prepare daily, monthly, quarterly, annual, and other reports based on the data management system requirement to PDMO on time as deadline.
  • To assistant with counselor on review data on paper form and reports.
  • General Responsibilities
  • To work with due diligence in carrying out the tasks of the position.
  • To ensure regular, punctual and full-time attendance to duties during official working hours.
  • To strive all times to assist the ART team attain the highest levels of accuracy and honesty in all its activities.
  • To undertake any other duties assigned by the ART Team, PDMO and PASP manager
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Qualifications:
  • Finish high school
  • Ability to conduct multiple tasks and effectiveness in high-pressure situations
  • Ability to travel within the province
  • Residence in base province
  • Experiences:
  • Experiences on working in HIV/AIDS field
  • Experiences on Virtual Meeting App as Zoom.
  • Competencies:
  • Knowledge in computer
  • Knowledge in: Ms-Word, Ms-Excel and Ms-Power point and Email.
  • Good command of both spoken and written English
  • Good interpersonal skills
