Local Firm Consultant to Conduct the Baseline Survey Transforming Lives Through Nutrition Program in Cambodia

NATURE OF SERVICES: The consulting firm is expected to conduct a comprehensive baseline survey to assess the current status of maternal and infant feeding and dietary practices, micronutrient supplementation, climate -smart agriculture practices, supply chain development, and WASH practices in Cambodia. This survey will serve as the foundation for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the TLTN program interventions, ensuring that the project’s objectives are met. The consulting firm will collaborate closely with Helen Keller Intl, Vitamin Angels, and iDE to gather and analyze data that
will provide insights into the health and food systems' capacities to deliver critical nutrition interventions across the country.

DURATION and TIMEFRAME: (45 days) December 2024 - February 2025.

The consultant will undertake the following tasks:
- Document Review and Team Meetings
- Development of a Detailed Work Plan
- Recruitment and Training of Data Collection Team
- Logistical Arrangements
- Data Collection and Quality Control
- Data Analysis and Reporting for Baseline Survey
- Presentation of Baseline Findings
- Baseline Survey Progress Report

Bidder Eligibility
- QUALIFICATIONS:
- The consultant must have:
- Master’s degree in public health, quantitative research, health Research, or other relevant field.
- Minimum of 7 years experience in quantitative research and expertise in health research, agriculture, WASH, or other relevant health and nutrition field.
- Experience in establishing and guiding field data collection plans.
- Experience in training and supervision of data enumerators.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in quantitative analysis software (preferably STATA).
- Track record of publication of similar research.
- Strong analytical and writing skills in both English and Khmer.
- Oral proficiency in English and Khmer.
