Legal Support Project Manager
Based: Phnom Penh, Cambodia with some travels where needed
Reports to: Head of Programs Management and is a full-time post.

The Project Manager will manage and lead the Legal Support Project team to ensure the successful legal aid support to meet the needs of survivors of human trafficking and sexual abuse. The project manager will involve developing staff through regular catch-up meetings, performance management and managing the project's key components including project planning, budgets, implementation, monitoring and evaluation and working in strong collaboration with key stakeholders to fulfill the project objective, especially CMSP and CBCC and with relevant government agencies.

Chab Dai’s work comprises four main areas of work, or what we are calling “thematic areas.” These are: Movement Building, Systems Strengthening, Community Empowerment, and Survivor Restoration. Chab Dai encourages communication between and integration across all areas. The ideal candidate for this position will be prepared to work closely with members of all thematic areas and operating support functions, such as Operations, People & Culture, Finance, and Monitoring & Evaluation.

- LSP Project:
- Design and develop the LSP strategic plan to ensure it aligns with the Chab Dai strategy, Government's priorities, and meet donor requirements.
- Analyze project data and outcomes to ensure the project is learning and making decisions informed by evidence and data
- Coordinate client for legal support service from bar association of Cambodia through strong cooperation with key stakeholders such as MoWA/DoWA.
- Lead the team to develop and manage the project annually, quarterly, monthly and weekly work plans, based on each role and responsibility.
- Lead and manage the project staff, encourage and guide the project staff to grow personally and professionally through identifying professional development training opportunities
- Lead the monthly meeting with the project team to discuss and reflect on the progress of the project activity and implementation, and identify the challenges and opportunities where applicable with sharing note with Program Management
- Lead and manage staff coaching/mentoring, performance management meeting by scheduling a regular catch-up meeting and performance assessment/appraisal with each staff member.
- Maintain good collaboration/cooperation work internally, especially CMSP and CBCC projects in Survivor Restoration Program to reflect the projects link/interaction work in supporting survivors in their restoration journey
- Manage and Monitor the LSP to ensure that all activities and plans deliver effectively
- Monitor the input of data and outcomes to the M&E system to ensure it is accurate
- Provide financial oversight of the project in accordance with Chab Dai’s policies and procedures.
- Provide team supervision and debriefing where needed.
- Contribute in the implementation of the project mid-term, and end evaluations in cooperation with HoPS and M&E.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and end of project reports as required by Chab Dai, government, and donors. Regularly update on any changes and challenges of the project to the Head of Program Management.
- Develop the legal support framework, flow, and documentation
- Build and expand the relationship with relevant institutes, agencies, ministries, partners, and donors for legal support to the cases and represent Chab Dai in meetings with partners/stakeholders and relevant ministries.

- Attend the conferences to represent Chab Dai as required, also media and interview.

- Bachelor Degree of law and management or related fields, with At least 5 years of experience in, management, and leadership level.

- Be good at the preparation of all kinds of reports.
- Strong project management skills managing complexity issues in multifaceted projects resulting in measurable successes and program growth.

- Good written and verbal communication skills in both Khmer and English.
