Duties, Responsibilities
Expectations - - Receive lawsuits from local unions or (workers) (facilitate, prepare and file lawsuits to the competent authorities and defend for the victims)
- Develop list of all collected cases and compile, communicate and follow up on each step of the cases resolution processes
- Provide consultation and recommendation which are associated with the laws to local unions or complainant or workers
- Facilitate meetings and define possible strategies that contributes to cases or conflict resolutions to defend and protect workers’ interest at all level
- Prepare and provide monthly reports on the narrative progress activities and output related to case intervention activities, and coordinate and manage the works of the depute department.
- Consolidated reports at the end of each month and submit department manager
- Prepare useable case file specifying the progress of cases or where the cases are to ensure easiness for being understood and monitored for all steps of case resolution: mediation level and/or court hearing level with as well as employer, provincial department of labour and Vocational Training (PDoLVT, Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training (MoLVT), arbitration, for both judicial and extrajudicial cases with other partners and/or other international actors
- Interview victims and assist them to prepare lawsuit to ensure that those cases comprising of adequate evident to defend and protect their interests
- Bachelor's Degree in Law or related field
- Be comprehensive in English both speaking and writing
- Have at least a 2-year experiences in law with NGOs or worker organizations is advance
- Good attitude and behavior
- Flexible as needed through real situation and keen to work under pressure circumstances
