Legal Assistant
Duties, Responsibilities
Expectations - - To provide legal advice and support Legal Manager in the varied, dynamic and fast-paced areas of telecommunications.
- To draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts with domestic and international partners.
- To draft, review, negotiate and advise on contracts within a corporate environment on a wide array of topics such as litigation and intellectual property matters, general contract law and telecommunications-related issues.
- To liaise with external counsel where necessary.
- Other related tasks upon Legal Manager’s requests.
- A good Law Degree from recognized university in Cambodia. Having Master Degree is an advantage.
- A legal assistant/consultant with at least 1-year-experience in a leading law firm or in the legal department of a major company.
- Having experience in regulatory affairs with the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications and Telecommunication Regulator of Cambodia is an absolute advantage.
- Having enthusiasm in the TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecommunications).
- Proactive individual with an analytical mind, an eye for details and sound knowledge of general corporate law, contract law, intellectual property law and litigation and corporate secretarial matters.
- Able to work independently and effectively under pressure.
- Excellent drafting, vetting and negotiation skills.
