Website & Digital Media Intern
Position Circumstances

Duration: 6–12 months, depending on the applicant's availability.
Working Hours: Half-day (4 hours per day), Monday to Friday, either morning or afternoon, depending on the intern's class schedule and organizational needs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain, update, and improve the Lotus Outreach Cambodia website, including website content, layout, structure, and functionality.
- Work with the existing website codebase using Git and GitHub to implement improvements, troubleshoot technical issues, and make necessary website modifications.
- Upload, edit, and update website content, including news, project updates, success stories, photos, publications, and other materials.
- Monitor the website to ensure that content is accurate and up-to-date, pages function properly, and the website remains user-friendly. Identify and resolve technical issues where possible.
- Assist with basic website maintenance, including backups, security checks, and website performance improvements.
- Design visual communication materials, including posters, banners, flyers, brochures, social media graphics, and other promotional materials for print and digital platforms.
- Edit videos, including adding subtitles and captions, ensuring their accuracy and proper synchronization.
- Assist in managing and updating Lotus Outreach Cambodia's Facebook page and other digital communication platforms, including preparing and publishing content.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Expected Profile of Candidates
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
- Good English proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
- Experience using Git and GitHub for version control, code management, and collaboration.
- Ability to work with an existing website and codebase, update and maintain website content, troubleshoot basic technical issues, and make website layout or structural changes.
- Basic knowledge of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Basic experience using a website Content Management System (CMS), preferably WordPress, to update and maintain website content.
- Experience in graphic design using Canva or similar applications.
- Basic video editing skills using CapCut, OpenShot, or similar software.
- Computer literacy in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), internet use, and email.
- Knowledge of PHP or other web development technologies beyond the basics.
- Experience with responsive web design, website security, backups, and website performance optimization.
- Basic photography and videography skills, including taking photos and filming short-form video content (e.g., Reels and TikToks).
- Having additional knowledge in Media and Communications, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, or relevant fields.
