Position Summary

Department: Operation

Reports To: Operation Manager

Work Location: KJC farm

To coordinate daily poultry farm operations across KJC Farm, Breeder Farm, hatchery/incubation, processing, and outgrower activities, ensuring safe and efficient production, animal welfare, effective staff supervision, proper use of resources, and implementation of KJC SOPs.

Reports To: Operation Manager

Work Hours: Monday–Saturday; 07:00–11:00 and 13:00–17:00. Farm operations may require additional coordination when necessary.

Work Environment: KJC Farm, with regular coordination with Breeder Farm, hatchery/incubation, processing, and outgrower operations.

Travel: Travel to Breeder Farm, outgrower farms, KJC Head Office, and other operational locations as required.

Reporting Cycle: Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to the Operation Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Farm Operations & Team Coordination
  • Coordinate daily operations across KJC Farm, Breeder Farm, hatchery/incubation, processing, and outgrower activities.
  • Monitor daily work plans and ensure supervisors complete assigned activities on time and to the required standard.
  • Supervise and support farm supervisors and coordinate their work across production areas.
  • Monitor staff performance and raise significant performance or staffing issues to the Operation Manager.
  • Identify operational problems, bottlenecks, and resource needs and report them promptly.
  • Provide coaching and practical support to supervisors based on identified needs.
  • Biosecurity, Animal Health & Quality Control
  • Ensure biosecurity procedures are followed by staff, outgrowers, visitors, and service providers.
  • Monitor hygiene, sanitation, cleanliness, animal welfare, and environmental conditions and follow up corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with technical/animal-health staff on disease risks, flock health, and mortality.
  • Report abnormal mortality or disease risks promptly to the Operation Manager and technical team.
  • Ensure processing activities follow approved hygiene and quality-control procedures.
  • Support implementation of HACCP, GMP, and other applicable KJC quality and safety requirements.
  • Production Planning & Coordination
  • Coordinate production plans for eggs, chicks, chickens, and processing based on approved plans and sales requirements.
  • Monitor production results against plan and report gaps, delays, or expected shortages.
  • Coordinate production cycles between breeder supply, hatchery/incubation, outgrower placement, grow-out, processing, and sales.
  • Support forecasting of egg production, hatchability, chick numbers, chicken growth, mortality, and expected supply.
  • Use production data to identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce losses.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Marketing to align production availability with sales forecasts.
  • Outgrower Programme Coordination
  • Coordinate with the Outgrower team to ensure farmers receive required technical guidance, inputs, training, and follow-up.
  • Monitor outgrower compliance with KJC requirements for biosecurity, animal welfare, feeding, farm management, and record keeping.
  • Review outgrower performance and identify farms requiring additional support or corrective action.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to address operational issues affecting outgrower production.
  • Support improvements in outgrower productivity, quality, and income outcomes.
  • Resource, Feed & Operational Control
  • Monitor availability and appropriate use of feed, medicines, farm supplies, equipment, and other key resources.
  • Identify resource requirements in advance and coordinate with relevant teams to avoid operational interruptions.
  • Monitor feed use and other key inputs against production requirements and approved plans.
  • Report abnormal consumption, wastage, shortages, equipment problems, or other significant issues.
  • Support proper maintenance and use of farm facilities and equipment.
  • Reporting, Documentation & Compliance
  • Review daily, weekly, and monthly reports from farm supervisors and outgrower teams.
  • Consolidate key information on production, mortality, biosecurity, resources, outgrowers, and operational issues for the Operation Manager.
  • Ensure required farm records and operational documents are maintained accurately.
  • Monitor implementation of KJC SOPs and report non-compliance or repeated issues.
  • Support audits, partner visits, monitoring, and farm reviews by preparing required information.
  • Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Operation Manager.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • English - Good
  • Khmer - Fluent is required
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Rural Development, Agribusiness, or a related field.
Work History:
  • Poultry farm management or agricultural operations for 3 to 5 years as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:

  • Experience supervising farm teams or coordinating multi-site/outgrower operations is an advantage.
  • Practical experience in poultry production, biosecurity, and animal welfare is required.
  • Good knowledge of poultry husbandry, biosecurity, animal health, hygiene, and animal welfare.
  • Ability to coordinate production planning, forecasting, and daily farm operations.
  • Ability to monitor production data such as mortality, hatchability, growth, feed use, and output.
  • Good understanding of SOP implementation, quality control, and operational risk management.

To provide human resource, administrative, procurement, and stock-control support that ensures compliance with KJC policies, accurate records, timely purchasing, effective stock management, and smooth day-to-day operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • KEY RESULT AREA 1 – Human Resource Support
  • Monitor daily staff attendance and report irregularities, late arrival, absence, or early departure.
  • Monitor employee leave balances and maintain leave records and supporting documents.
  • Support recruitment: vacancy announcements, candidate screening, interview scheduling, documentation, and reference-check coordination.

  • KEY RESULT AREA 4 – Stock Control Services
  • Record stock-out requests and related transactions in the accounting/system records accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate weekly stock reports from KJC Farm and Breeder Farm and submit consolidated information to the Operation Manager, and conduct physical stock counts at KJC Farm and Breeder Farm according to schedule.
  • Reconcile physical stock against records and identify shortages, excesses, damaged, expired, or obsolete items.
  • Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels for key office and operational supplies and raise replenishment needs.
  • Ensure stock receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments are properly documented and approved.
  • KEY RESULT AREA 5 – Accounting and Payment Support
  • Prepare voucher for supplier’s invoices and supporting documents, and submit to manager for reviewing on time. Posting vouchers into accounting system.
  • Prepare cash advance for staffs, scan, and submit Manager for review and release payment through internet banking.
  • Review all advance settlements from staff on time and ensure all expenses are within account code, budget line, and accuracy calculation.
  • Ensure close all staff advance settlements before end of month.
  • Prepare all income and expenses into tax system and submit to Manager for reviewing.
  • Prepare and reconcile daily closing report on vendor expenses, payable, and journal entries.
  • Submit daily closing the account report to Manager on time.
  • Ensure accounting transactions are follow accounting policy and procedures.
  • Submit weekly report to Operation Manager
  • KEY RESULT AREA 6 – Fixed asset control
  • Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register for KJC Head Office, KJC Farm, and Breeder Farm.
  • Record all newly purchased, transferred, disposed, lost, or damaged fixed assets accurately and on time.
  • Ensure fixed assets are properly tagged/identified where applicable.
  • Maintain supporting documents for asset purchases, transfers, disposals, and other asset movements.
  • Conduct physical verification of fixed assets according to the approved schedule.
  • Reconcile physical assets with the Fixed Asset Register and investigate discrepancies.
  • Report lost, damaged, obsolete, or unusable assets to the Operation Manager.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly fixed asset reports as required.

Work History:

The Account Receivable Officer is responsible for supporting the Operation Manager in managing all incoming payments, invoicing, and customer account reconciliation at KJC. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the organisation maintains healthy cash flow, accurate financial records, and strong relationships with customers and outgrowers.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, numerate, and able to work accurately under time pressure in a fast-paced agricultural business environment.

Work Hours: Monday – Saturday; 08:00 – 12:00, 13:00 – 17:00

Work Environment: Office-based at KJC Head Office; occasional visits to farm sites

Travel: Occasional travel required for customer follow-up, bank deposits, and cross-site coordination

Reporting Cycle: Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to the Operation Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and issue accurate sales invoices to customers on a daily and periodic basis, ensuring all billing reflects confirmed orders and delivery records.
  • Record and post all incoming customer payments (cash, bank transfer, and cheque) into the accounting system promptly and accurately.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables, sending payment reminders to customers and escalating overdue accounts to the Accounting Manager.
  • Reconcile customer accounts regularly to ensure balances are accurate and discrepancies are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and update the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring all entries are complete, correctly coded, and properly documented.
  • Coordinate with the Sales team to verify delivery confirmations and ensure all completed sales are properly invoiced and recorded.
  • Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly accounts receivable reports and ageing schedules for review by the Accounting Manager.
  • Support the collection of daily payments from customers, verify amounts received against invoices, and prepare bank deposit documentation.
  • Maintain organised and accurate filing of all invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and supporting financial documents (physical and digital).
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts receivable, including balance confirmations with customers.
  • Coordinate with the HR/Admin Officer and Account Payable team to support interdepartmental financial processes as required.
